Loved the property. Excellent location and gorgeous historic apartment that was spacious and beautifully decorated. One block to the tram and short walk to many Bordeaux attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend

Beautiful apartment, lovely furniture, well stocked kitchen.
There was no mention of the 60 stair climb to the apartment. I suffer from arthritis and it was difficult for me. It would have been good to know before booking.

Beautiful, elegant appartement right in the middle of Bordeaux, with a car park 2 minutes away. Well furnished and well equipped with extremely comfortable beds
3 flights of stairs (good exercise, but hard work - worth it for the appartement)

A light spacious apartment in a great location, within walking distance to cafes, bars, public transport and historical sites.
The host, Jean-Christophe, spoke English and was easy to communicate with. On departure he booked a taxi for us and very thoughtfully helped with luggage both on arrival and departure.

Liked the apartment overall. Good location.
One of the bedrooms had a strong smell of urine. Smelled like it was in the rug but uncertain. Was in a room with poor ventilation so was not pleasant.

Appart Sainte Catherine is a spacious apartment in a very central and convenient location. The apartment is comfortable and clean. The unit is on the 3rd floor (2nd floor as the French count). The host helped carry up suitcases. Keep in mind the unit fronts a street that can be a bit noisy with late night revelry (there are no cars on Sainte Catherine) and this can be a bit of an annoyance in the summer when you have to keep the windows open. Keep in mind that although the building is well maintained, it is an old building that is charming and sometimes a bit frustrating. FWIW, we would stay again
3 rd floor walk up. A bit noisy at night if you have to keep the windows open (which you must in the summer)

Loved the position and easy access to all important historical sites in Bordeaux. Jean Christophe was flexible, clear and communicative re arrival time and available for any concerns that may have needed assistance. The slightly tight winding staircase to get up to the property was a slight challenge but easily do-able and added to the charm. Very secure. Would definitely go there again.

Great place in an excellent location in the centre of Bordeaux, making it super convenient for shopping, dining out and walking around town. The apartment is super large and comfortable for a family visit, giving you the possibility to having separate rooms, areas and kitchen
. The only "negative" point was around the individual beds for which the mattress was too soft, but in any case comfortable
