The hotel is a 10-min walk from Gare St Jean train station, where one can also hop on a tram to the city center. (Also, 2 min from the hotel is a bus that goes directly to the station, although we did not use it.) There are a LIDL and a SPAR about 2 blocks away. It's in a residential neighborhood, with lots of families, so we felt safe. We stayed in a 1-BR apartment. There was plenty of room for two of us. We appreciated the clothes drying rack. Breakfast was good.
The photo shows a room with several floor-to-ceiling windows letting in lots of light. We were disappointed our apartment had just three small windows.
We wished there were a dresser or wardrobe for our clothes. There was a single luggage rack - two would have been better.
We wished there were nearby bars or brasseries for enjoying an evening beer, but we had to walk quite a ways to find anything.

I have to say, the staff was truly amazing! And the room, so quiet, a real lifesaver. The idea of having a kitchen in the room is nice, but it's really small and I ran into a few issues. Gym and Sauna are amazing, I suggest to use it everyday!
The room wasn't clean at all. The kitchen was riddled with issues and the fridge was often noisy, thankfully not at night. The bathroom smelled bad and the shower was quite old.
The sink was also too small.
The floor was difficult to clean. I recommend leaving a mop and detergent in the room so guests can clean during longer stays; otherwise, dirt accumulates.

The breakfast was excellent, and the room was comfortable with everything that I needed.
The air conditioning unit was down when I got there, but they provided a small unit that made the room quite comfortable.

Spacious room, clean, and comfortable bed.
Large bathroom.
Walking distance to the train station and only 20 min walking to the city center.
Check out time is later than usual and is a huge plus!
The placement of the window didn't allow for much natural light into the room and the workspace table was narrow and had a large handle on the drawer that one could easily bump into.
No password protection for the wifi.

Decently clean, a bit spartan but enough for a few days stay. The gym was surprisingly nice.
The dryers are awful—full of lint and dirt and dust, and they do not dry the clothes at all, so your clothes just come out hot and still wet.

Good value for money, the room was clean and spacious. We had requested two twin beds, and they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom apartment to accommodate our request, which was nice of them. The water pressure was good, the toilet was clean, and the fridge works.
The AC in the bedroom was not working, we didn't contact the reception, which is on us. The area was not bad, but a bit far away from the center.

It was ok to crash here for one night arriving late at night from airport and leaving early in the morning to train station. Personnel at checkout were very friendly and spoke at least good French, English and Spanish.
Coffee was surprisingly terrible and some fresh vegetables as well as fruit would have improved the breakfast experience. There was a water leakage visible in the ceiling of bathroom .

Room was spacious enough for us for 1 night. Clean, well equipped with coffee pot, kettle, toaster, frig. We wanted somewhere close to the train station. This worked very well for us. Bonus was a small restaurant steps away for kebabs, burgers, etc. Worth a try. A nice patisserie nearby, too.
Uni students partying through the night, off and on. Mostly quiet though.
