Practical facilities, comfortable beds and great breakfast! What struck me was how happy the staff seemed to be, nothing was too much trouble from the check in to the barman even calling to make a reservation for us for dinner - using his private mobile… it’s been a very long time since I’ve experienced service anywhere close in Europe… A fantastic experience and added to our stay! Keep up the good work!

Great property with a nice breakfast and a swimming pool!
While it’s walkable from the train station, it’s a bit far with suitcases. I’d recommend a taxi instead.

It was convenient to highways to Normandy beaches and could walk downtown for meals
Surprised that if you did not want full buffet breakfast that you were relegated to the lobby to eat on coffee table. Would not even let us sit at bar. Also witnessed a confrontation over a backpack in dining area. Seriously a crisis over someone possibly taking a banana or apple for the road. Don’t be cheap!!! At 20 Euro for buffet you must have some profit built in. Just a bad taste in my mouth.

Easy access
The lighting in the bathroom was almost nonexistent. The only lights were in and near the shower and there was very little lighting over the sink and area to get ready. The magnifying mirror was in the dark and practically useless.
There was no way to adjust the room to cooling. On the last night we were told we could open the window

It was a basic room that served our purpose for a one-night stay. There was live entertainment on the patio the night we were there which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices.

It was clean and rather new (or well maintained) with a very good location
There was no safe or fridge at the room - which was quite weird for me for a 4 star hotel...
The staff did agree to store our things in a common safe and common fridge, but it wasn't as convenient like in your own room

Disappointing
The staff were all very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was very good.
There was no notice of construction happening on our floor. The tea kettle was incredibly crusted with calcium deposits. We had to scrub and clean it before we could use it. The coffee supplies were minimal. Just 4 coffees and 3 teas and only 4 sugars. No creamers or milk. We had to ask for a carafe of water and milk from the bar. The TV did not have any stations in English, for example BBC or CNN. The breakfast was rather expensive for what was offered.
