The staff were professional, welcoming, and accommodating. It is centrally located in Bayeux and everything was a few minutes walk away. We purchased items at the local market and the staff provided plates, glasses, silverware, and an ice bucket so we could enjoy our wine and charcuterie by the pool. They stored our luggage before our stay and on the day of checkout.
The elevator only goes to the 3rd floor and two of our rooms were on the 4th floor.

Disappointing
Location.
The stool was so close to the wall you had to go to the lobby to use bathroom.
No exhaust in bathroom so the whole room felt wet.
Room was very hot all the time.
Breakfast was not good.

Location was very good. Female staff were very friendly and helpful. Males not.
Room was very very small and uncomfortable. Shower need a door water poors out into bathroom making it slippery and dangerous. Room was much smaller than expected. Pool was a lot smaller than shown online. Smallest room we have experienced in London or France. Not worth the price you charge.

Very Good
Pool/hot tub great features and onsite parking. Location was nice and central to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast looked to be good, but wasn't disclosed ahead as an option. Bathroom nice, room size okay but tight. Younger people on hotel staff much more approachable and conversational. Overall, it's a nice property for the price in a historic Normandy town, the first liberated on June 7, 1944.
Room was warm in Sept and had to open window without screen. Fan helped just a bit. Didn't want to leave window open too long without a screen. Found bug on bed. With train strike looming, I had emailed the hotel two weeks before asking about transportation options as we needed to be able to get to airport, sent in French and in English. No one acknowledged receipt and obviously didn't convey info. This caused a bit of concern. The older woman on site a bit gruff. There's a bar menu but the food is frozen, warmed up. This could be improved as well as a few tips on website on how close from train station and how to get to hotel (taxi at train station or 15 min walk).

The location was perfect only a 10 min drive from hotel to train station a 7 min walk to catch the shuttle for excursion. Our room was a good size able to move around in it without a problem. The bathtub/shower after the first use we figured out not to turn the water full blast because the shower door does not extend the whole space. If you are older you may want to ask for a walk in shower if they have them because the bath tub wall is high and the bathtub is slippery, they need to have a non slip mat available. Other than that which was really not a big deal all was good.
Breakfast was good but get down there early!!
Quaint little town. Most restaurants don't open till 6pm but there are cafe's open to enjoy a beverage or pastry.
Wished we had a walk in shower bathtub is slippery would not be good for an older couple

The location was great. Shops, restaurants and sites all within walking distance. Close-by free parking. Staff, especially, Coline was exceptional. good value for your money. The bar was nice and comfortable
I liked everything about it. The only thing I thought was the breakfast was a little expensive, but that was it.

Wonderful
Location and staff!!!!
Room was too small for us. We asked to change and got a bigger room which was just too small also. No place to open luggage. Had to step over in order to navigate the room

This was a fabulous hotel in a nice region. The town itself has a lot of medieval charm and the location is great for exploring Normandy. The staff was superb and the facilities were perfect.

Located in a central part of town and easy to walk to sites. The staff was great and very accommodating .
Didn't realize it was two hotels and this one felt like the lesser of the two. Rooms were so tiny and didn't cool without a fan but if we left the windows open, the curtains were in the way and there were mosquitos.

Location was great. Close to main parts of old town area and walkable to good restaurants.
Horrible Wi-Fi connection. WiFi basically was not usable from room 110. Also, no air conditioning. Had to open a window and use the provided fan but since I was one flight up off the steet, cars going by woke me a few times. Narrow tub for shower

The staff was at all times helpful and friendly. I would like to specifically highlight Coline, who took care to learn how to make my favorite iced coffee for me and remember the recipe from day to day. We always liked to see her at the front desk. Take care not to lose her!
I found the hair dryer difficult to use as I have problems with my hands and struggled to hold the switch on. One without this feature, even if it is only used outside the bathroom, would be much easier.
