distance from the beach is close but basically 100m above sea level so quite a climb. The food in the restaurant is good, but expensive for what it is, much better options more reasonably priced on the seafront watch out for your room charge bill, it really adds up fast, quite a surprise on departure!

The swimming pool was lovely. The kids really enjoyed the unrestricted swimming times. It was lovely and warm

Having read reviews here and on Trip Advisor I was concerned by reports this would be utilitarian and more like a hospital than a hotel. I cant disagree more, everything felt fresh and comfortable and warm. I was blown away by the quality. This didnt feel tired and dated at all.
We travelled with our three little girls and kept them very quiet and respectful, however I constantly felt the glares of other guests. The staff were very friendly, but the guests felt a little snooty.
