Nice facility on the outside but a lot of poor workmanship on the inside.
First day at check-in I had to visit the reception area five times. Keys didn't work. Wrong bed combination. Towels were wet. Registration problems caused by staff.

Half the staff were absolutely lovely, the other staff absolutely horrible. Good coffee, but watch out when you tap your card that they don't try to trick you into paying for other items.
On 2 occasions the staff overcharged me. I did get my money back, but not without a fight and this reminded me to be vigilant before tapping my card and took enjoyment, time and energy out of my stay. I was paying for my stay at check in. The check in man had added 2 breakfasts to my stay, without letting me know. A breakfast was not listed in my booking when I confirmed it, I was also not asked if I wanted this optional breakfast- and I was staying alone, so why two breakfasts? It was late at night and I was trying to unwind after my stressful journey from London that I had made by myself as a lone female, trying to have a nice weekend for the NANA 25th anniversary event that the Meet & Greet group (an independent organisation) were holding at the hotel. I looked at my banking app and I saw that I was charged an extra £35. I realised that if I didn't go and sort it out, no one was going to do it for me. I went to the reception with a consciously calm and diplomatic demeanour, appreciating that this could have been a simple mistake. I also believe that you catch more with honey than vinegar. There was a different man, who was very rude. He was shouting akept talking over me whilst I was calmly describing the discrepancy. I had had enough of his rudeness so became stern. I said to him let me finish and stop shouting, I am not impressed by the rudeness of staff here. He actually went quiet and seemed embarrassed. I do not like the fact that he thought he could get away with being so bullish. He said that I would need to speak to the manager the next day at 7am, when I was supposed to be forgetting about life and having a nice time. I said it was inconvenient and asked if he could make a note, because I did not have faith that it would be resolved. The hotel was very dark and hot at all times. The bar also charged me for things I did not order, which I had to fight my money back for.

In close proximity to the Périférique Beltway and the Ligne 3 subway terminal station
Small, dirty room. Poor, very slow service at the restaurant. Inexperienced staff at the front desk. Slow, overcrowded elevators. Extremely tight garage entrance and exit. Got stuck for 10 min due to a malfunctioning garage door, with no apologies from the staff. Small gym with no towels.

I was attending an event in the hotel, so the location was perfect.
Beds not very comfortable, room too warm, only 2 lifts working, restaurant wasn't the best... and the staff wasn't helpful at all, they made me pay twice!! They wouldn't believe me when i told them i had already paid via booking.com (i had 2 screenshots to prove it) and took my credit card details just in case. They asked me to sort it out with booking.com, which i did, but they took the money anyway!! Terrible experience!

the only good thing about this hotel is the friendly staff
The walls of the rooms have signs of serious moisture, they have no ventilation, so it is too hot and stuffy in the rooms. According to them, the air conditioner have but works only in the restaurant. While we were staying, the elevators worked sometimes and sometimes not, paying for parking, whether due to system maintenance or something else, did not work, so the reception told us to try tomorrow, thanks still have uber. Parking is only interesting if you have a bigger car, you will understand what I am talking about. The hotel generally does not deserve to have even 2 stars. only if there is no place in Paris I recommend

Breakfast was absolutely disappointing. You make your own egg (only one frying device), if you wanted ready made scrambled eggs - they were made from egg powder ?. Not enough choice at all.
We had foldable bed instead of a normal bed.
It’s a 3 star hotel standard. Not 4.

Staff were good.
No free parking for our car..we have to pay 20eu daily.for 6 days stay.
The room was clean but awful humid smell of old carpets..

The Bar was good and the Bar man was very friendly
Everything except the bar, the food option was very very limited and the menu was repeat every single day. Secondly when things finished the refill was not there or it took more time so someone can’t wait for it. The room is like an oven without any ventilation and the AC was not working, the family suffered a lot and kids were not able to sleep every single night. We complained it to the front office and escalated to the front office manager but no use. I think they don’t have something called customer service in their DNA. One thing which made us furious was that the AC is that much in the hotel and what we can do. Then why the hell you run the hotel knowing that AC is not working. Also there is no room service and when we ask anything then they ask us to come to the restaurant,then why it is called Room Service? We know Novotel is budget hotel but we never expect the service to be so worst and this experience reminded one more time that I should not choose Novotel brand itself. Hope this review make some positive Changes so others people will not go through this worst experience.

Staff weren’t a bit rude on arrival, had to pay a city tax and security deposit that wasn’t clearly communicated prior to booking. The room looks a bit run down and not recently renovated.
