We received a warm and friendly reception when we arrived. The hotel is well maintained and very comfortable. There is attention to detail in every aspect. The breakfast was simple but beautifully presented. The evening meal was nothing short of exceptional. The location of the hotel is close to perfect and I hope to pay another visit in the future.
Our bathroom was a little difficult for us at our age (80). I discussed this with the owner and believe that changes will be made. It did not spoil our stay..

simple breakfast, all that was required. Lovely relaxing location, a quiet place. Nice staff and good evening meal
To be fair, I had read that the reception may not be open but we arrived at approx 4pm after a 5 hour journey but found the reception closed so we did the short drive to the delightful town Lalinde for a walk and coffee and returned at 6pm to check in

What a beautiful spot, so calm and peaceful right on the river. Room was cosy and comfortable, food was excellent, and the service friendly in an understated way.

The owner was really helpful and made us feel at home. The food was amazing - we had our evening meal there and it was truly wonderful as was the breakfast. A really nice hotel by the river and we would stay again.
We had arranged to arrive earlier than the booking in time but had to wait 50 minutes outside on the terrace until someone came. Our room was next to the Church and the bells were very loud (not much you could do about this so we laughed about it). It would not stop us staying there again as it was a lovely setting.

This is a really lovely small family run hotel in a great location, just off the main road on the banks of the river with a beautiful view from the terrace. We had a nice comfortable room with air conditioning, which helped a little in 30 degrees! Excellent dinner in the evening and a great breakfast out on the terrace. This was perfect for our one night stopover between destinations.

The location was beautiful. The restaurant was 9/10 the breakfast was healthy, fresh and continental.
The rooms were correctly rated as 3star and as advertised. The hoovering around the furniture needs attention.

Lovely family style hotel with two dedicated owners who really care about the customers. Loved the room and the style of property. The absolute highlight is the restaurant where you will be served very good food at reasonably prices.
The airco was not extremely efficient and loud. WiFi was a bit temperamental and 4G reception is not great either. Checkin only open between 6 and 8 PM.

Good location by river. Friendly staff who left room unlocked so we could check in before the usual time of 6-7
We booked a superior room to splash out on our last night in the Dordogne and the room & bathroom were both inferior to any room we had stayed in that week, including those that were much cheaper. For example there was no kettle, no glasses, the taps were loose. There were strong kitchen smells which put us off having dinner.

Wonderful hotel with charm. The room and public ares were spotlessly clean. The staff were attentive and friendly. The terrace was amazing and welcoming. Our dinner, while soaking in the views, was superb.
So glad we picked this perfect spot!

The room was very nice with an outside seating area provided. The location was lovely looking over the Dordogne river.
Breakfast was expensive for what was provided and wasn't exceptional; as rated by other guests. Not worth £13 euros each.
