Location was walkable to all major sites. Great restaurant on property. Very good breakfast.

Dinner in the restaurant was a gourmet experience, food and service was outstanding. Breakfast buffet was excellent and table service for coffee efficient and friendly.
Room was spacious and well equipped with water, coffee and tea available.
Isobela was welcoming and helpful. She enhanced our visit with her friendly conversation.
We did not use the outdoor garden area but it is large and lovely.
The only negative for us was that the Pillows were very firm.

The room was fabulous, bed was great. They have secure parking. They have a beautiful and interesting garden area which would have been nice to experience if we had more days. Be sure to book a dinner in their dining room. After 2 weeks of traveling in France and having wonderful food experiences the meal at La Breche topped all before.

The best yet! The restaurant and staff were amazing, I’d read the reviews before I booked which told me it was a good hotel but we were knocked out by the whole fantastic experience . Thank you the team at Hotel La Breche.

Fabulous restaurant both dinner and breakfast. Dinner in particular here was exceptional - one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Hotel beautifully decorated. Very friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful garden. Easy parking.
No milk for coffee/tea in room. Quite a walk to centre of Amboise

It is a beautiful hotel and lovely garden/courtyard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Walking distance to center of town and also the train station.
The bathroom only had a shower and not a bathtub.

Fantastic restaurant with outstanding food, staff, and lovely dining room. Quiet location but short walk to the town center. Secure parking. Very nice staff.
The WiFi was poor. A couple apps, e.g., Apple News, refused to load stating you are not connected to the server. It’s an older building, built in 1888. So the steps are narrow, winding, and steep.

Pleasant room overlooking the garden. Bottle of water and kettle etc in the room was appreciated. We had dinner on the first evening which was exceptional. Breakfast had a wide choice of options. Easy and picturesque walk over the river to the city of about 10 minutes.

Friendly, clean hotel with the friendliest staff that also has no problem speaking English. But the best thing about the hotel? The restaurant! Well worth driving an extra mile (or more!). Dont forget to make a reservation at the restaurant when you book the hotel because it can be full.

We loved the entourage, the garden and the lovely dinner.
The Corona-induced breakfast routine was odd and its effectiveness slightly debatable (one pepper keg and one salt shaker were available all guests)
