Proximity to the airport. The room was spacious and clean, the grounds were lovely.
The staff were courteous and helpful.
On the Saturday night they had a 3 piece band playing near the pool. This encompasses the bar, and all eating areas. The band were so loud that we were shouting to make ourselves heard. Eventually we returned to our room and ate there .

Mostly the staff and how they interacted and looked after the client
Personally it has that tired feel about it
The amount I paid for it per night should have been less about half of the cost
In fact the accomodation Im staying at currently is $200FJD per night and is a two bedroom fully modernised apartment.
At least the refrigerator works here as does the jug for boiling water and making a cup of tea/coffee
The cord didnt reach any plug in the room as well as no tea bags/coffee and other items at Tanoa International Hotel
It appears the $$s made here arent passed down to the staff who probably average around $4.00 per hour so I attempted to tip where possible.
Many other faults or defects to mention here but I slept okay which is my main priority.
Shower and toilet facilities need a good refurbishment

The warm friendly staff, who were so welcome and helpful. Although this was a short stay, my husband and I chatted with many of the staff, and felt they genuinely cared for us, like family. This was very appreciated. The staff really took care of our every need. The included shuttle to and from the airport was also very convenient, and the breakfast was truly delicious, with freshly made food.
Nothing at all. The stay was perfect in every way.

The staff and facilities were great. The area is nice. Conference rooms are very useful. Did I say the staff were great .
Dinner menu was nice, as was the food when it came. However, it could have done with more variety. Selection become quite limited after a few days.
This is more of a point for management - The cleaners did a great job, however the residue from the floor wash becomes dangerously slippery when re-wet in the bathroom. A change in tile surface or cleaning product would fix.

The bedroom area was nice
The bathroom sliding door didnt close completely, we were only given enough towels for one person and there were three of us. The booking in general was a nightmare. I requested compassionate consideration to cancel my reservation without fees due to my grandmothers passing. Booking.com came back to me straight away to advise it was up to the hotel. I called the hotel and each time I called they told me theyd get back to me. I stressed that I was calling internationally but it did not phase them eventually they got back to me after my third call to them to advise it was up to booking.com but by then they had already withdrawn the money for payment.

Disappointing
Like the shuttle service provided too and from airport. This room was better than last weeks 1 night stay, this was an executive room, however nothing flash. Bathroom a big upgrade from deluxe, thats for sure
Breakfast was disappointing, no toast available? Fiji very expensive. You need to spend $1000 plus a night to get anything reasonable. This room was $FJD500.00 night, found out the hard way, you need to spend more.

Super close to the airport, fantastic location and free shuttle to the airport.
The phone in our room didnt work, neither did the door lock. Food wasnt great (had room service that took an hour to arrive and was wrapped in plastic so went soggy, breakfast is free but not up to the standard of other hotel breakfasts).
