Wonderful
The place was absolutely lovely, with a sprawling deck overlooking the ocean with some spectacular sunsets. The infinity pool was beautiful. The amenities were great too. THey even started us off with some fresh fruit, milk, juice, coffee, etc. Very nice touch especially when travelling all day. The management and staff were super friendly, they picked us up at the airport and helped carry our bags up and down all the steps. It was very clean and spacious as well. We absolutely loved our stay.
My only red flag is that there were a lot of steps, like 200, to get up to that stellar view. I was worried that my Dad wouldn't be able to do it, but he did. I appreciated all the fans to help with the heat, but have to admit that I wish there was a wee bit of air conditioning on those hot, muggy days - but the pool helped with that for sure :)

The location was good
My room was up against a construction site. And staff quarters as well I think and the proper were VERY loud. There was no blanket on the bed.
The door had a book for licking but nowhere to hook it. There was no remote for the tv.
I ordered a pot of tea and was given a cup of hot water and a teabag. This is disappointing. The serving staff was not grumpy when I asked for a pity of tea in the afternoon.

Location and ease of booking.
No TV remote, Iron and iron board. No balcony or view for deluxe upgrade as promised. We had to ask for TV remote and iron.

Great location, right on the beach, with a pleasant restaurant. We really wanted the place for day use, between our early flight arrival and late cruise departure, and the hosts didn't offer this, but they did allow us to stay on campus for much of the day, and to use their facilities, and we appreciated that.
We booked the most basic room and it was VERY basic, small and located at the back of the property. But it was what we had booked. I really would have liked a day-use option, and the hosts couldn't even offer us a late check-out. That was unfortunate but just how the chips fell. The neighborhood didn't have much to offer, unless you count the other hotels.

Great location right on beach.
I look for 3 basic needs. Comfort Clean and safe. My room wasn’t clean when I arrived. They cleaned properly next day. Safety… security guard supposed to be on duty. Someone entered main house and tried to get into my room twice during the night. We stayed five nights. First three days four rooms had no hot water and little pressure. Four out of the five nights loud beach parties from early evening until 7am. Also staff arriving at 5:45am make a lot of noise. Was not happy at all as we had no rest at all.

On beach …good value. They had everything needed…just needed to ask. Hairdryer, electrical converter, beach towels, safe key, bag storage. Etc.

Old building in a good location, being next to major hotels was convenient for shuttle pickup to the marina. Alla at the reception was extremely nice and helpful, she let me check in a bit earlier and arranged a tour for me. It was nice to have a restaurant on site and a market within walking distance. The internet was not the best but overall it was a good value for a short stay

Tried to book my cab to airport 3 hrs early fro a 20 min ride. Booked my own @ booking.com. Saw in the am they had their own shuttle but did'nt offer it.

Amenities seem barely adequate according to its star level. Ran out of hot water while showering on both days of our visit.

Very good value for money in Wailoaloa. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was close to the main reception/restaurant so it was quite loud at night and in the morning, not very soundproof rooms.
