The hotel is located in the very center of Helsinki, all the main place to visit can be reached by foot or by public transportation . The breakfast is fabulous!
The furnitures in the room are a bit old and I would appreciate to have a kettle to make some tea.

They made some recent changes and now the breakfast is no longer included. Been staying at this location regularly for years, this was disappointing.

The breakfast was really good, but the eggs seemed fake. That was my only complaint about the food.
The lighting in the room wasn't good enough to get work done, and there was no coffee maker, or even a kettle, in the room. If I am traveling for work, I need good lighting and easy access to coffee. There is really good coffee in the lobby, but it's expensive.

We had a wonderful stay at Scandic. The hotel room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the location was excellent — very convenient for exploring the city. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was top-notch, making the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was truly one of the best We’ve experienced — there was an impressive variety of options to suit all tastes. We really appreciated that you could even pack some food and take it to your room if you wished. A special mention to a Lithuanian lady working at breakfast — she was extremely helpful and attentive, which made the mornings even better. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend Scandic for a comfortable, well-organized, and guest-focused stay.
I wish the restaurant could serve lunch and dinner.They did mention no lunch and dinner only breakfast, which I can't fault.
