Excelent location - walking diatance from Viking ferry terminal, tram stop right at entrance. Morning and evening meals included + fika. Good food. Cool historic place and didnt feel like in prison :)

Authentic nature of the property, advertised as a restored prison and this is exactly what you are greeted with ( but with more comfort for those staying than the previous cliental). The description of the property can not give you the feel of what you are presented with when staying. The lighting and set up the dining area is a classic example of this with tables in row , lighting dim, table tops giving the impression of marks that could have been left by inmates and loved that you are encouraged to return dinner dishes to a metal trolley when dinner is complete. The large pot of porridge as one of the breakfast options was classic.

The history of the building and how well it used as a hotel.

The breakfast spread was amazing.
Dinner being included in the price especially on the 25th and 26th of December when lots of places may be closed was a huge plus.
It being a prison converted into a hotel was thrilling!

We loved the idea of converting a prison into a wonderful hotel. Such a unique experience.
Only 5 minutes walk to the ferry terminals.
Tram #4 stops right infront of the hotel.
The staff was professional and very kind.
The food: breakfast, fika, and dinner, yummy and plentiful.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The location was better than we expected; easy access to the tram and ferries. The staff were very and helpful. They had board games to play and areas to play the games.

Great location. The room was comfortable and heated floors in the bathroom is always a nice bonus. We have stayed at other Hotel Home With and found this one to have less dinner options. The breakfast was good and varied. The tram to town was right outside the hotel.
Although there is someone on duty, everytime we went to the reception desk (including check in and check out) it was difficult to find the receptionist.

It was great to have the breakfast and dinner included in the hotel price as it was very convenient. The choices for food were great and tasty. The staff was very kind upon check in and when we realized we forgot an item after checkout they helped us find it.
I think the carpet could have used another swipe of the vacuum. Seating for dinner was a little confusing. I had to ask about the sauna times, I wish they had stated in upon check in. 20 euro for a private booking of sauna, but they also had a free ladies sauna hour.

Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were all included in the price - very good quality and delighted to find lots of gluten free options. Room was huge and desk great. Access to tram outside perfect and easily linked to airport train. Delighted to be able to access the fitness room.
Evening meals were probably overly salty for my taste and that of my wife.

The concerted prison was a cool experience. They had two remaining cells in the lower restaurant. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. Friendly front desk staff. The location was good for walking around. I’d stay here again.

We get a room upgrade, the bed was that good, i never had better sleep in my life. The food was amazing, breakfast, dinner and even afternoon tea with cake in price. 10/10 will return :))
