Location, good memories from last visit.
1. Appetizers at the executive lounge during Christmas Eve was disappointing. Quality this time was clearly worse than it was at the same time when we visited in 2023. 2. The restaurant and bar was closed too early in the evening for guests who are away from home and would like to enjoy the evening a bit longer time. 3. One bottle of water costs 5 euros at a 5-star hotel is crazy. There are many hotels who offer them for free. 4. Hotel staff is not very customer friendly for example, the waitress at the restaurant when we asked if it was still open. She was just busy with her own stuff and had no smile on her face. The same with the reception lady whom we informed that we drank two bottles of water from the room. She seems not happy when we told that we thought two bottles were free for us. 5. I still have not got the 40euro deposit back to my account.

Nice room with a canal view, big bathroom and a bathtub. Unique looking lobby. As of location is in the heart of Helsinki and next to the Redi shopping center. Parking available for 35e per day. Very friendly and professional staff at the hotel and the restaurant
Maybe the hairdryer could had been slightly more powerful, but it got the job done :)

Wonderful
We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast stood out with a wide variety of healthy options. The café managers always greeted us with ginger shots, which was a lovely touch.

Disappointing
Close proximity to downtown, I. E. 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was good, fresh and variety of options were decent. Housekeeping was good. Bathroom amenities by Crabtree was a plus.
Parking was too expensive on property. Parking garage is located through an inconspicuous garage door which, can be missed because it looks like a locked door. It opened upon close approach but it got worse when we entered. The garage was very very dusty. Visible amounts of dust and dry dirt can be seen accumulated through out the garage that it filled the atmosphere triggering sinus issues I never suffer from. For the entire trip, I was forced to conceal my nose/face to avoid sneezing uncontrollably. Dust was noticeable leading into the elevator to access reception.
Pillows in the room were too flat. Hotel felt very boring, no entertainment. Dishwear was visibly stained. Elevator carpets were musty. Mini bar was never refilled.

Everything was clean, the staff was quick to reply. Amazing view from the balcony.
If I have to nitpick it would be that the drainage in the balcony was blocked and didn’t drain the rain quick enough (even after a couple of sunny days), which made it annoying every time I went there.

Concierge lounge attendant was not friendly or positive. Yelled after a guest for taking a glass from concierge room. Banged glassware. Never spoke to any guest.
