Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city center. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner. The Viking Line ferry terminal and Kauppatori Market Square are few minutes' walk away. Also other interesting sights are close by. Eurohostel’s rooms are simple but comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities are on the hall. Additional communal areas include kitchens and lounge rooms. Hostel offers each guest linen and towels, WiFi and morning sauna for free. Guests can enjoy a buffet-breakfast for an extra charge. Eurohostel's lobby also has vending machines with drinks and snacks. The 24-hour reception sells city passes and tickets to attractions. Staff can also recommend area activities and help you with most questions.

The location was good, not too far from the citycenter (maybe it also didn't feel so close cause it was -17 degrees)! But the reception was guiding me really well, especially the girl named Sonia (or Sonja, I don't know), she was very friendly and seemed like she's doing her job really well!!
Bathrooms, to be honest they could have been a little more clean, but this also depends on every individual how he/she uses it, I am not complaining over the stuff's job, at all :)

It is good value for money. Approximately 20 minutes on foot from city center. Room was nice with enough space. Kitchen and bathrooms in good condition. I would stay again.

Awful smell, full of homeless, soooo not safe for a women travelling alone. It was non-refundable but I booked another place regardless, could not tolerate the stinky smell!

This hostel is wonderful, just like all the others in this chain. Everything is very organized, clean, and the staff is very professional. They have a very good structure, with all the facilities, several kitchens, an adequate number of bathrooms, laundry... but the highlight is the sauna, which is free in the morning and €5 at night. I felt very comfortable during the 2 nights I spent there.

the location is great. I really appreciate that gave a towel even if it was not included. very comfortable rooms
I couldn’t turn off the shower hahaha it’s just a sensor but it doesn’t work properly so at the end it has water waste. The lockers in the bedrooms are difficult to open and to lock, but nothing too special

Good location. Overall quite clean. 24h reception and quite friendly checkin/out time. Bed is comfortable. Shared Kitchen and laundry room.

Super close to a tram stop that’ll take you right into the city. Very clean. Decent kitchen facilities. Not a hugely socializing hostel, but I met some people in the kitchen.
Kitchen closes at 11 which can be inconvenient.

i stayed here like 20 years ago and stayed once more . I did sauna on my last day and i am so sad i didnt do it on the other days. yes there is sauna in the place!!!

Very Good
The room is extremely affordable for a solo traveler. Thanks to Helsinki’s compact size, most major tourist attractions are within walking distance. Considering the price, I didn’t expect luxury amenities, but the stay exceeded expectations. The staff were warm and welcoming, and everything was excellent.
The overall environment feels somewhat oppressive, not only in the room but also in the common areas.
