I loved the breakfast. Everyone was incredibly polite. I wasn’t feeling well and housekeeping knocked on the door to see if I needed anything cleaned. When he saw I didn’t feel well, he asked if I wanted water. It was incredibly kind!
I would have liked a map of the campus.

I believe that there is nothing warmer and better in Ethiopia than the Ethiopian people.

Our stay had some great highlights and a few disappointments. The airport shuttle service was timely and efficient, and we appreciated the free bottled water provided throughout the stay. Staff were consistently polite and professional, and the rooms were clean with solid housekeeping service. Complimentary breakfast for Marriott members was a nice touch, and room service meals, though tasty, felt a bit overpriced.
However, we were very disappointed to find that the kids’ club (Simba Club) and playground were closed for the entire duration of our stay — something we weren’t informed about in advance. We had chosen this hotel specifically for its child-friendly amenities, and aside from the basic kids’ pool, there was nothing else available for children. This took away from the experience significantly. With better transparency and family-friendly offerings, the stay could’ve been much more enjoyable.
