Top notch hospitality. I felt really welcomed by all the staff. Excellent location in Bole. It’s very close to shops, bars, restaurants, etc.
Not every room has an A/C. This could be an issue during the summer. However, I spoke the front desk and they were able to provide me an A/C room when I requested it.

This property is one of its kind in the capital Addis Ababa. It’s super quiet, clean, and staff friendly. I have been traveling to Ethiopia 14 time a over 16 years and have been staying in multiple hotels including Golden Tulip; except for its location and Not So Great breakfast, Sabon exceeds every expectation and it is a place for a traveler who needs a quiet time to rejuvenate and clean space for your soul.

Hotel has a good location with very friendly staff and a reliable pick up and drop off service to and from the airport. Used room service once and food was good and in a timely manner. Breakfast buffet has everything what’s needed.

Sabin is in an excellent location near many restaurants shops. The complimentary airport pickup makes getting to the hotel a breeze
The staff are all lovely and great ambassadors of the Ethiopian people
Nothing to dislike in particular. I would have given a 10 but the breakfast is not kept hot enough for my liking

A great place to stay. Free airport pick up weas there when I arrived. Room was spacious, clean , comfortable and quiet. Receptionist was charming and helpful. Security staff even showed me where I could find a local sports bar!

The location is very good, 5 min drive from the airport, 5 min walk to the 2000 Habesha Cultural Restaurant. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The manager organized for us a car with a driver at a reasonable price to take us around the city for a whole day.
We took the apartment, but the kitchen was not equipped at all: there was no plates, cutlery, glasses.

The room space is spacious, spotless, and quite cozy. The hotel is situated in the downtown and is close to pharmacies and grocery stores. Restaurants, nightclubs, etc. are all within walking distance. The hotel's restaurant is outstanding, and breakfast is included in the price of your stay. It's delicious and offers a wide selection of dishes. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary airport transportation. Above all, though, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I had planned to stay for three nights but extended my stay to eight nights. One of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed at in my many years of traveling is Sabon Hotel, and I will most certainly stay there again when I return to Addis Ababa.

Very clean, quiet, and well-equipped hotel with friendly staff. Excellent, hot full breakfast, with lots of variety. Only about 10 minutes to or from the airport with 24 hour shuttle (arrange in advance if you can for night or early morning). Shuttle also helped me get around town to finalize some travel planning. Very nice!
Only issue was that airport shuttle did not wait for us on arrival despite arranging in advance. Not usually an issue but you simply MUST get an Ethiopian eSIM to make any calls in Ethiopian (I.e., America phones won’t usually work even with an international plan). Friendly attendant at the airport shuttle area called the hotel once the shuttle did not arrive.

Very spacious rooms with all facilities including hot water kettle, tea bags and a fridge. The lighting in the rooms was good. The hotel is near the airport and they have convenient airport transfer. Very smooth check in process and wonderful staff.
