The location was really great and close to the airport. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also pretty amazing.
Wifi could have been better. Internet speeds are a bit dicy.

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing, especially regarding the food and the overall service.
On the first day, I got food poisoning from the hotel’s food, which was severe enough that I had to be hospitalized. I was given IV fluids and medications due to how bad my condition became. This affected my entire trip and was completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level.
In addition to that, I booked a Business Room and paid the full amount for it, but when I checked in, they gave me a Standard Room instead. At first, they insisted it wasn’t a standard room (even though it clearly was). When I asked for a room change or a refund for the price difference, they said they couldn’t do anything. They told me they would compensate me the next day, but they only contacted me very late on the second day — and by then, I was already checking out the following morning, so the “compensation” was pointless.
Overall, it was a bad experience in terms of food quality, staff communication, and the lack of professionalism.
I do not recommend staying at this hotel, especially for anyone who cares about cleanliness and safe food .

Our stay at Armada Addis Hotel was truly pleasant. The room service team was very friendly and always attentive to our needs.
A big shout-out to Ms. Eden from Guest Services and Supervisor Lidiya — they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I also wouldn’t forget to mention Mr. Bhran, whose warm hospitality really stood out.
The hotel’s restaurants are among the best in Addis Ababa, offering a wide variety of cuisines — Indian, Western, international, and local dishes. The Steak Open Buffet is a must-try

I liked that housekeeping was attentive to number of guests and provided all amenities needed. Cleaning was always on time and well done. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Eden at the reception desk. She went above and beyond to rectify a minor issue I had.
My room had no view (which all guests love). I was offered a switch but had already unpacked so I decided to stay in the allocated room. It was okay though given I was in Addis for business and spent only a few hours in the room.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. The location was perfect — close to key attractions, shops, and restaurants, yet peaceful and relaxing.
The staff were extremely polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient.
My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and all amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and room service worked perfectly.

I love the city views that the room options have to offer. It's quite refreshing to be able to see the city at night from your room. The staff are always attentive and ready to assist with anything that's not working well. The in-house Spa is also a plus but does require prior booking to secure a slot. Breakfast is always a treat with various options available. The hotel shuttle is always on time for airport pickup and drop off too!
The rooms on the lower floors seem older and need a little maintenance, for the smallest things. For example, I was on the 5th floor this time and in the shower stall, the soap holder was slanting. There was also a light fixture right under the shower head which cast a large shadow in the bathroom, making it appear darker (even if that's not the actual case). Upon booking, I did request for a room on the higher floors (like my last stay) and I understand this is not always possible, but making sure all the rooms on all the floors have the same standard would be great.

I like the service workers at the hotel, family and who works the night shift, they were very friendly and informative. There were also other men that I forgot their names, the ladies at check in desk were very professional as well
I have no complaints if any it would be the portion size of the meals at the restaurant are quite small but that seems to be cultural across the board.

The location , the staff , room cleaning was very good , had some difficulty at the time of check in , came a bit early , not able to get an early check in
Had some difficulty at the time of check out, the staff at reception need to act quickly, a bit late in check in at the time of check out could not finalize clearing invoice and complete card release , they have many machines to check credit cards, I had to wait some time although could not clear and finalize payment , although they hold the required amount
