Location was perfect, the staff were kind and the breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. They are super close to the airport and have a free shuttle.
There is construction on the street near the hotel, so it is a bit hard to get to.

Lovely staff, good communication, varied breakfasts, and very convenient included shuttle. Our room was very clean comfortable, and it had hot water on demand.
We liked the Lobelia so well that we spent 3 nights at the beginning, one night in the middle, and two nights at the end of our trip here.

The window didn’t close completely, so I could hear a bit of outdoor noise (music, mostly). Wearing earplugs solved the problem.

Asked staff to help with printing some documents and the computer they had was really slow.
Take into account potential traffic jams in the area when going to airport.

There were some customers begin their smoking in the building and eventually walk outside leaving trailers of their smoke inside the building and the nonsmoking should be enforced respectfully

Hotel Lobelia exceeded our expectations. Me and my family found it incredibly affordable without compromising on comfort or quality. The rooms were super clean and felt really comfortable, and you get free breakfast every morning. Honestly, the entire cost of a one-night stay here is probably less than what you’d pay for a single ride-share trip from your home to the airport in your own country—and yet you get all these services included. The free airport shuttle is a huge plus, and the staff are warm, professional, and always ready to help. Special thanks to Rekik and her wonderful colleagues at the front desk for their kindness and efficiency—they made check-in feel like a warm welcome home. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Addis Ababa

Room and restaurant were very satisfactory.
Most staff was accomodating. Good experience overall. One girl at the lobby was incapable of listening ˆˆ
I did not get any food poisonning from the restaurant. Having lived 2 years in Ethiopia, I can tell you that this is a very good thing! :)
Laundry was a total failure. I ended up TWICE doing my own laundry because of a totally irresponsible laundry staff! Worse, I had to negotiate to get a 50% refund while I had to get up early before taking my flight to dry the clothes that received twice too wet in my room... Incredible.
With this hotel, it is a month that I receive reminder to note the hotel. Quite harassing policy.
Their "spa" was not on the venue so we could did not have the opportunity to use it. The information on Booking was deceptive.
