Some staff members were helpful and courteous.
-too much construction outside
- the shower drain does NOT drain so you have to stand in dirty water. It was gross. I had to ask the maintenance to come and fix it before taking shower again
- there is no luggage rack to put a small carryon but a coffee tray is there instead. .no other flat surface, not even in the bathroom
- The refrigerator was not plugged in.
- TV is.not working. Per reception, there are some technical problems.
- Kleenex brought to the room upon request.
You are constantly asking for things not working or not there or for the cleanup due to poor drainage. I got there after Danakil and was so tired and had travelers stomach. All I wanted to do was taken a shower and go to bed.
All in all, it is packaged fancy but lacked basic services.

Excellent location! The free shuttle to the airport is very convenient!
Staff were very welcoming! The room was very spacious and clean. Gym is great with many machines including free weights. Complimentary water, tea were available in the room. Highly recommended the restaurant downstairs as their food is excellent and a great value! Definitely will book again!

Very well located, just off Bole road, well connected to all the main sites in Addis and also quite close to the airport. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The layout of the lobby and downstairs bar/restaurant is unique. It had a great vibe and good place to relax and eat. Above all, the staff at Best western plus were exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay memorable.
There were roadworks going on at the time of our stay which caused traffic congestion but this is a temporary issue.

Food at restaurant; could rate it as 2-star.
Pillows: Horribly overused they have formed painful 'balls' of material makes it almost impossible to find comfort. They should be thrown away.
We booked in as two guests. Got one towel for shower. Asked repeated times for one more; arrived after 45 mins. Lost sleep waiting.
Shower water takes about 5-6 minutes to become reasonably warm. What a waste of time and water...
Do yourself a favor: Pay more somewhere else to get a decent night's sleep, between layover flights.

I could not rest (from jetlag) during the day as there was an event right outside my room (Room 214), and the music was very loud and the people who had a party. On the following day, there was repair of facilities going on also outside my room It was annoying and very inconvenient.

It was in a good location and had a good breakfast. We liked the complimentary airport shuttle . The staff were friendly and helpful .
This was the smallest room in our 3 weeks of travel . The bathroom was very small as well . I expected a bigger room for the price .

The room was fine, though the lighting was a bit dull, especially at the desk. Good shower.
Bed fairly comfortable but pillows lumpy.
The food remains very disappointing, especially lunch and dinner. (I have stayed here many times). The buffet is more or less the same every day and the dishes are very dry and lacking in flavour. It seems the chef does not like to use any herbs or spices in European dishes. The meat is often tough and chewy and pasta is served without sauce - only lumps of mince, making it hard to eat.
