Nice hotel with friendly staff
Very crowded, no place at the pool. Breakfast room was over crowded, long waiting row at the coffee machine.
Elevator was very warm and insufficient capacity.

I felt relieved to leave the hotel; there is literally nothing worth commenting on positively from my end.
The hotel is clearly not a four-star property, but rather a three-star one. If Valencia's four-star hotels were attending a wedding, this one would be sitting at the kids' table, at best.
In terms of overall comfort, the room was acceptable, but the sink was clogged, the swimming pool is little more than a bathtub rather than a real pool, the breakfast is average, the scrambled eggs are terrible, and the coffee tastes like dirty water. At reception, there seems to be a lack of professionals with the experience and customer-service standards expected from a higher-end hotel, which affects both the welcome and the overall guest experience.
All of these issues would already justify a poor rating. However, the worst part of my stay was the hotel manager's rude behavior. When I complained about a couple of problems, namely a foul smell in one room and a non-functioning air-conditioning unit in another, she simply laughed in my face in front of her reception staff, suggesting that I was actively looking for faults to criticize in what she apparently considered her flawless establishment.
I can only assume this behavior stemmed from arrogance and a complete lack of professionalism. Although I later received two written apologies, one by email and another in an envelope, I frankly do not care. As a final example of the hotel's lack of attention to detail, even my name was misspelled in the apology email, despite the fact that I had provided both my ID and the Booking.com confirmation.
All in all, this is not a place I would recommend to anyone seeking a pleasant stay in Valencia, especially given the many better alternatives available. The hotel may be "by Meliá," but it certainly does not meet the standards one would expect from a true Meliá property.

Great location, room was in nice condition, staff were friendly, and the room was cleaned as needed. There’s a small pool, and breakfast was tasty with a good variety. Dinner was good too, though with a smaller selection than breakfast. The hotel was very clean overall.
We booked a room with a pool view but were switched to a room advertised with 2 separate beds — which never actually appeared. The window in that room never closed fully, so street noise was constant. All drinks at dinner are paid, even water, and there’s no free tea, coffee, or water in the room — only a mini bar with a small bottle of water; free water/tea/coffee is only available at breakfast. Room service was very slow (waited 1.5 hours for a pizza and had to call several times). The biggest issue was that it’s impossible to dry anything in the room — no ventilation in the bathroom and no drying space, so everything stays damp. Elevators are slow and too few for the number of guests, with waits of around 10 minutes.

Great hotel, fantastic location close to the science park, comfortable beds, very clean overall-good breakfast selection, fresh and tasty, friendly staff.
although the breakfast selection was good it was quite repetitive, there could have been better selection of warm food or of the food could be alternated-only a suggestion not a major problem. Also limited amount of English channels, not that we spent much time watching tv but it could have been nice to chill after busy day

Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to get us into rooms early so we didn't have to drag suitcases around. Comfy rooms and water and juice in the room. Lovely view. Housekeeping was also great when we couldn't figure out lights....need to put card in slot to turn on. Easy to get taxis to go wherever....very walkable area.
No complaints. Wish we had been able to stay longer in Valencia!

Wonderful location, short walking distance to shopping and many tourist attractions. The dinner buffet was amazing and affordable. The staff was quick to respond to all of my request. I booked to rooms for my family and we were pleased with our rooms.

The location close to the City of Arts and Sciences was perfect for our photography. There were several restaurants close by. We paid a bit extra to have a high floor with a good view of the City of Arts and Sciences and it was well worth it. Rooms on the 10th floor are so nice with restocked minibars with beer, water, and juice. And our roof top terrace was a delight.
The only minor thing is that our toilet was continually running water. It didn’t annoy us but it was wasting water so we reported it. A worker came about 5 pm to repair it and must have spent 3 hours on it during which time we couldn’t use the bathroom. Even though he thought he had fixed it, it continued running.

The location was amazing. If you're coming for the Oceanografic then this is the place. Bed, cleanliness, and staff were exceptional.
The hotel is also far from the city center. Amenities in the room had to be asked for with an extra charge.
