The NH Valencia Las Artes hotel couldn’t be in a better spot. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from a science museum, aquarium and IMAX cinema. Buses outside the hotel take you into the old town, and you can be on the beach in 15 minutes. The hotel is very close to the new "Roig Arena" stadium, the most importan venue for events and concerts, and the new basketball court of the Valencia Basket Club. 2 minute walk to the famous City of Arts and Sciences, which houses a science museum and Europe’s largest aquarium 15 minutes walk and 5 minutes by car to Roig Arena stadium Opposite El Saler shopping center 15 minutes’ drive to Malvorrosa Beach The hotel has 174 rooms in a choice of Standard or Superior as well as two Junior suite. Muted gray, green and brown lends a soothing ambiance, and several rooms have garden views. The staff were helpful, the location is near the bus stops to the city center or to the beach, It was fairly clean.
I first booked a single room and the toilet seat was up against the wall with barely any room for legs. I complained and changed to a bigger room (paid extra for it). The bigger room - the sheets and towels were clean, no problem there. But the furniture looks old. Still, not an actual problem for me because I wasn't into the "looks" of it. At 7am someone's shower made all the pipes within walls buzz and make this high pitch sound. I woke up to it and it lasted about 2 mins. On my 2nd day, there was no hot water in the shower.

Location is superb, I really like this place in Valencia. So close also to most of transport modes. Many good places to see, to eat at, to make grocery :) Breakfast was also very good. The personnel is attentive, friendly and collaborative. Airco at this heat was amazing add-on :) And beach is 20 min by direct bus. The sea was amazing!
The room itself was quite small. Even if it was for one, it was really tiny. In the hotel NH type I would expect to have at least a bigger bed. Though I had super cute balcony, almost a terrace. If not this summer heat, I would spend there some time in the evening. Gym is next to the swimming pool where it is pretty hot. My heart and brain were not ready for this killing combo.
