The staff was mostly nice. Location is ideal - the hotel is in the city centre. A bus stop is right opposite to the hotel and the metro is nearby as well.
1. The beds are old and sink in the middle - couldn't sleep properly throughout my 4-night stay. 2. The breakfast is terribly limited and just average in quality. 3. While the rooms are spacious, the hotel isn't. There is always some kind of foul city odour lingering. Cleanliness could be improved. I found a cockroach in the washroom (see picture). 4. The sink in the washroom was choked when I checked in - it was eventually repaired by a very nice guy (thanks), but it shouldn't have been that way in the first place. 5. During my entire stay of 3 nights, they never gave me new towels - they only took the towels I had left on the floor as indicated. On my last day, I was left with only one towel which I had also used the previous day and decided not to discard. 6. The tap water is NOT SAFE FOR DRINKING as also explicitly declared by the hotel management. They gave me one bottle of drinking water when I checked in, and that was it. There is a water cooler where you can fill up the water but if a couple of people have filled their bottles before you, there's usually nothing left until somehow it fills up in an hour or so later. On arguing about this with Antonio, he gave me one 'free' bottle of water. Ideally, they should have replenished two water bottles a day after each room cleaning/service.
