Very special Hispanic design and luxurious garden and landscape with renown F&B outlets.
Very expensive for the rooms type. Air conditioning problems and could not be fixed despite many attempts by the technicians- which has led to change the rooms late evening.

Puente Romano Marbella is the perfect place for a beautiful escape by the Mediterranean. The location is exceptional, right by the sea, with stunning lush gardens and an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and effortlessly relaxed.
The beautiful gardens, filled with vibrant Mediterranean vegetation, create a wonderful sense of tranquillity while still being at the heart of Marbella. We loved the variety of restaurants and the lively yet elegant atmosphere throughout the resort.
It is the kind of place where you can completely disconnect, enjoy the sea, beautiful surroundings and exceptional dining, while experiencing the sophisticated spirit of Marbella.

Absolutely nothing. The service failure and deceptive room allocation overshadowed any potential positives
Despite booking a junior suite, I was shoved into a
'residence-style' apartment with a kitchen that looked nothing like the photos. The room was dirty, the safe was broken, and there wasn't even a phone to call the desk. When I pointed this out, the staff dismissively told me they 'didn't have' the category I actually paid for.

The location was excellent. The grounds of the property were beautiful.
The hotel room was aging with a bad smell that came and went throughout the week. Housekeeping was terrible. Half the days of my stay the room was not serviced. One day I even ran out of toilet paper and called to ask for some to be brought to my room immediately. It took hotel staff an hour to deliver it. My room was noisy as I was placed next door to the housekeeping storage closet, even though I requested a quiet room. The pools were nice but overcrowded for the amount of people staying at the resort. A couple times I was told there were no lounge chairs available and to return later.

Very nice resort, with a lot of options in terms of restaurants. Great breakfast. Very lively place. Within a 5-10 min drive from pretty much all the other areas in Marbella (e.g., Puerto Banus, Old Town, main restaurants and beach clubs, ...).
I am having a hard time to justify the $3,000/night compared to what this hotel offers. Concretely, while the room is clean and spacious, it feels a bit outdated and is just average compared to other 5-star hotels/resorts that cost a fraction of that price.
Sure, a very extensive breakfast is included, but nothing else besides that. There are no additional perks for hotel guests as far as access to places in the resort.
As an example, access to La Plaza (a lively area in the resort at night) has a minimum spend of $300/person, even if you just want to get a drink. Surprisingly, you can see in there several "sex workers" looking for customers (we witnessed a "negotiation" taking place), but as a guest of the resort you are not allowed in, unless you pay the $300 or complain.

Concerned services got mixed up a few times but were fine overall and very helpful.

Restaurants were good
Too much noise of the frogs and birds, There was no water for 4 hours. For buggy wait was more then 30-40 minutes. To pick the luggage it took them 45 minutes. Staff didn’t took the trash until we checked out & wasn’t filling the tea, milk and sugar.
