Pool areas is perfect inside hotel
La cabana is separate beach club in other area I don’t know why you use there foto inside hotel fotos
Location is 10 min to the beach
From the beach the same way uphill and usually wet it takes longer
Entering to the see is not the best from that coast
We had to use different beach club to stay on a see

This hotel was truly exceptional! We would return just to stay here again. The staff went above and beyond, and the additional amenities are top-notch. They offer a wine hour and an an amazing breakfast if you purchase the breakfast included with stay. It is 100% worth it. Its one of the best included breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel. Our suite was absolutely incredible—truly unforgettable! The grounds are stunning as well. The restaurant was delicious too.
Im very picky and have high standards. I really can't think of one thing that I wish was better. I truly mean that. If I had to pick something i guess maybe that the pool was warmer it was a bit chilly but that would not have been a complaint.

I loved that this was a brand new renovated hotel. It opened up in February 2025. The staff was excellent, and the grounds in perfect condition. The rooms were spotless and perfectly set up. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to relax and eat well.

A solid 4-star hotel. Despite the owner going cheap on the recent renovations, the employees are very upbeat and professional. I'm writing as a hotel owner in Dubrovnik, Croatia that perhaps is a higher standard given all hotels were recently rebuilt over last decade. Beef tartar by Yousef excellent. Bar service by Ana exceptional. GR help by Ewelina wonderful. Pre-stay assistance by Giacomo very good. Reception staff really good from Alejandro to young lady at check out. Rooftop lounge a plus. Massage very therapeutic. Pool area great. Beach area which is not nearby is murky water. Ample parking. No need to use valet as close to reception. Omelette lady and eggs fantastic. Not a lot of choice at breakfast, but tasty. Marbella over all is well-connected with flights and have nice golf courses. If looking for swimming and fun in sun, then better if we stayed in Dubrovnik. For golf vacation, good place. Sofabed quite comfortable for adult.
1. 3 x Tequila shots @ €220 quite excessive.
2. Tetrapak water 300 ml for €6 poolside is a rip-off given its for free 20 meters away at fitness gym.
3. Room upgrade to Duplex room a huge disappointment given two sets of narrow stairs and elderly guest. Just give the guest what they booked. If can't then explain at check-in the dangerous stairs.
4. Lift over 3 decades old rumbles in newly-renovated hotel. Invest in new lifts.
5. Laundry service very poor. Didn't clean two pairs of pants well and one shirt and ruined another pair of pants with rust stains. Must be that owner didn't have money to buy new laundry equipment. But they charge like it's the best laundry facility.
6. Feels like they dressed up an old lady and think she's pretty. Old hotel that's dressed up to look new, but isn't.
7. Bathroom toilet tucked in corner suitable for kids but small area for adults over 6 feet tall.
8. Hot water at sink takes forever to get to room.
9. Chocolates crisps at minibar just cookies. Sounds like crispy chocolate. Not worth it.

We were excited that the hotel has reopened its doors this year. And we were also very happy to meet again with some of the old staff. The suite was very comfortable, with finally Smart TVS and new furnitures. The bed was cloudy and so comfortable. Everything was so well thought through. The Breakfast Buffet was excellent, the new swimming pool was amazing, we had lunch by the pool, it was tasty and delicious. I highly recommend it!
The Hotel had to keep its Spanish Andalusian touch. The reception is very modern and does not reflect the soul of the Los Monteros . The orange trees were taken down in the Patio by the reception, as well as the old fountain. Sad!

The service was terrible. The only time we actually were asked how we were or what we needed was at breakfast. While in the bar area, at pool etc we had to find a person to help us.

The property was well renovated whilst keeping the essence of the original place so it looks nice
I agree with most comments that for the price the service is very poor. It is not up to a 5 star at all and the idea that they just opened is no justification as they charge 5 star prices. We paid for 3 nights with lunches etc 770 euros per day, 2300 total. First we went to the pool but they have limited beds for the number of rooms so it was full, we took one of the cabanas that were free, after 3 hours they told us it was an extra charge for the cabana…. The service was very very slow, an hour wait for food in the restaurants, very late room cleaning, poorly trained staff that really dont know how to behave in a 5 star quality hotel.
The last day was sunny and we forgot sunscreen, we went to reception but they had none, we couldnt even buy one which is extremely surprising in a 5 star beach hotel… but worse they told us to walk to the nearest mall to get some, 15 minutes away and crossing a highway…. We ordered through Uber and waited 2 hours for it. In any other hotel they would have it but if not they would offer to go get it for a fee. The rooms although spacious are very loud, all the walls are made of plasters and you can hear everything, we were awake very early.

We had a duplex suite and it was just incredible. So much space, beautiful balcony etc. The breakfast was really good and we ate in the restaurant one night and that was delicious too. Loved our days by the pool and I did yoga one morning which was delightful.
Sometimes it was a little hard to get service around the pool but it was no big deal. Some other hotels have buttons for each table for ordering drinks and maybe that would be of use here too.
