Pleasant
My room wasn’t up to 4 star standard, there were marks all over the walls, the shower door was broke, the wood in the cupboard was chipped and it was full of ants. Also, they need to be clearer on what facilities can be used as I was told to upgrade my stay if I wanted to go in the restaurant, have a towel or use the roof top bar and I did not know this prior to arriving.

Disappointing
The view from the balcony and the live entertainment.
I called booking, spoke to the manager of the hotel and I tole them I wanted to have an ocean front room for my 50th birthday celebration. I also mentioned that I would have paid extra. They never accommodated me. The room had a partial view which was OK. Instead of a double bed we had to 2 small beds. The air-conditioned would hit the beds way to much, and we had to figure out how to adjust them so we can get some sleep. The beds were so hard, and there were only 2 pillows that were not comfortable. The location was far from everything! Luckily, we had a car. The tub was very slippery. I will not be coming back here any time soon. The food was ok but I hated that I couldn't get a nice fresh espresso from a real espresso machine, not the push bottom kind.

Friendly staff, the pool area was nice to relax, the beach was just one step away. We had half pension, so in general the buffet was average-good, with a few different options every night.
- The beach was the only thing close to this location, and to go to the city center it needed a 40min bus ride. Nothing more at walking distance. - Other facilities like the gym and paddle courts were at extra cost. For the price I would expect them to be included. - It is nice that they had a program of activities, but that also meant music every night until 11pm that could be heard on half of the rooms (terrace towards the inner court)

Easy beach access, lots of amenities. Room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good but the same every day.
Location: 25 minutes from city center, pool opens late in the mornings and closed early in the evening. Drinks not included with dinner. Had to have shower fixed in my room.

Wonderful
Very modern clean spacious. A very well equipped gym. Spacious rooms. Direct access to beach and nice restaurants near by.
Breakfast was good but the quality of the coffee not so good. But this is taste. I didn’t like it so much but others might. So nothing really. The sea in the area not nice. You have to travel to Nerja. But it’s like 40 min drive so not so bad.

The room was great. The location was fine, a bit far from any sort of town but it was close to the outlet shopping mall which was good for us.
It wasn't really walking distance to shops and cafes. The desk and cleaning staff could be a bit dismissive when asking for help or a question --- which we found a theme. (Also not a language barrier just a -- -oh I can't help you talk to this person.) On the other hand the servers and bartenders were great!

The staff was very kind and able to help anytime.
In the terrace of the apartment It was a permanent bad smell and we couldn't enjoy it because of that. The batroom door was making a big noise while opening/ closing it. And that was disturbing the sleeping of the others in the room when anyone was going to the batroom and the others were sleeping.

Perfect position right on the beach. Great facilities and comfortable beds.
Check-in was hard because I didn’t know how to get into the parking lot. Other than that, it was great. If you pull into the parking lot, it will reach your license plate and let you in, but it does not have a sign that tells you that.

Great value for money. Spacy and stylish rooms. Great breakfast. Staff is very firendly. Great beach location.
The hotel is close to the airport. So you hear the planes during the day. At night I think Malaga airport does not operate.
