Very Good
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The cafe was very nice and all baked goods were baked onsite, the food was very good.
Very noisy due to the bar terrace nearby, patrons stayed into morning hours outside shouting, which definitely was annoying and inconvenient.

Pleasant
the staff were nice, the property is a little 'tired', and is in need of some repairs
the property needs an uplift, grubby areas, for example the shower tray was cracked

Good
The location is great and the staff were helpful and friendly. My room was basic but comfortable.
I had asked when I booked if I could leave a bag (while on the Camino Mozarabe) to collect on my return 3 weeks later. They said yes no problem but when I arrived I was told they don’t do long term storage and do not have a secure luggage store. (They do still do 1 day luggage store). I then had to spend time sourcing somewhere else to leave my bag. It had been a genuine mistake on their part and they were apologetic and gave me a free breakfast.

Great central location!
The room was quite small and hard for 2 people to move around in.

Poor
Only location
The photos on Booking look much better than the place actually is. To start with, even though the bathroom was private, it was outside the room and had to be locked with a key. In other words, if you need to go in the middle of the night, you have to get dressed to walk down the hallway. The towels provided are in poor condition. The room itself is extremely small and uncomfortable.
The only positive aspect is the location, and I definitely won’t be staying here again if I return to Málaga.

Good
Lockers in the room, key provided, however they are so big, but at least something. Nice and friendly staff. There is fridge and microwave in the room. What I really liked is that everything was in dorm - bathrooms, showers, so it felt super safe for solo female traveler.
There was AC and it was too cold at night- I changed it but obviously someone eas feeling hot. Unfortunately there are no warm blankets for such a case, so I was freezing whole night and felt a bit sick afterwards. Only microwave was available for heating food, and no plates or cutlery were available.

Location was really good (we had a bit of trouble finding it at first) - the location is excellent and in the middle of a vibrant/busy part of town. It was a quite noisy at night but that didn't bother us. Room was comfortable and clean. Good value for the location/space.
It was a bit noisy until late at night but we didn't mind.

Very Poor
Booking said they admit pets
I paid 81 for 3 nights because they allowed me and my pet. In the end Those 81€ was just for ONE night and had to leave the next day. I want to go to the Police, have my money back, and report them for layers

Wonderful
Was well located just off Plaza de la Merced and very near other attractions in Old Town. Price was OK for Semana Santa - I only stayed one night, mid-week, so am unsure of pricing later in the week. Towels were provided free-of-charge which was much-appreciated. Lockers are provided in the room also which is great. Beds had curtains which I do find help have a good night's sleep. There is luggage storage provided also but I didn't avail of this as was checking out early.
There wasn't 24-hour reception but they were quick to respond to a query I had re early check-out when I emailed them. Wasn't very clear that the cafe/bar was where you did your check-in. Very minor things as my stay was otherwise perfectly comfortable and adequate and would stay again without hesitation.
If needing to criticise anything, will say that I did not like the little baskets that the towels were left in on the bed. Looked pretty but found them a bit awkward in general.
