Great location and clean comfortable rooms. Small pool and sundeck a bonus.
Pool and sundeck have no shade. The wifi didn't work at all.

The first room we were allocated, was not acceptable. It had one window, covered in opaque material, which overlooked a space inside the building. We objected and were shown a room on the top floor, full of light, and alongside the swimming pool, and overlooking the roofs of the old town and a narrow street, full of atmosphere. It was great fun to stay in.
The above comments on the first room. The staff dealt with the matter very well.

Exceptionally clean . Central location. Staff very friendly and helpful . Especially the receptionist / manager who checked us in and helped us to get a taxi to the hospital when I was not well . Thank you for his help!

The location was ideal and just on the edge of the sight, bars and restaurants. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and personable.
Albeit the breakfast was inexpensive, it was standard and uninspiring. The waitress was impersonal and every task she undertook was completed in a noisy manner with little regard for diners. Perhaps a little more concern for customer experience would be recognised and appreciated.

Excellent location for a city break. Friendly staff, great facilities, and a nice rooftop pool. Very clean and a great selection for breakfast. The complimentary lemon infused water at reception was very welcoming after a day walking around the city.

Staff excellent especially Francisco, who was superb.This hotel is fortunate to have someone like him at helm.We liked the pool area and the terrace,which was quiet and relaxing, although we were there at a less busy time in early May. Great view from terrace and the sound of church bells chiming. Large bed very comfortable and room spacious . Bathroom good.too and toiletries nice. Very clean and all staff worked hard to maintain which we appreciate very much. Reasonable choice at breakfast. And Kristina worked hard every morning and was very pleasant. The location of hotel is really central to many good restaurants,bars and shops . If we were to get the room type we had this time again we would definitely return. But thanks again to Francisco for making it such a good experience overall.
Unfortunately, there were negatives which for us were mitigated - but due to its very central location, some hotel rooms can be noisy due to busy thoroughfare . This was something we were not aware of, even knowing Mlaga as we do , we hadn't anticipated the ongoing potential disruption+ however the room we had mitigated this, but it is very important to us to have quiet and even in busy cities this is achievable. The noise is not the fault of the Hotel of course.. In terms of the aesthetics. - we were disappointed by the reception area decor/ design it seemed very sparse and lacking impact - reminded me more of a hostel type reception of my youth! . We stayed in an Exe hotel in Lisbon last year and the layout ,design etc of this space was so much more appealing and attractive - so had expected more of a wow factor here in Mlaga.The breakfast area also lacked any design and it was functional at best , surrounded by cleaning trolleys . Potentially a lack of storage? The breakfast area had no character and wasn't really a very appealing place to eat, although as said, staff nice and food choice ok, but all in a very narrow space.

It was clean except for roof terrace sunbeds
Basic small room. Old furniture. Very noisy from outsideso didnt sleep for a week. Smell from the Indian restaurant under our room . mattress was higher at the bottom so legs were up all night . Bedding poor and mismatched. Throw the old looking cover on bed ! Toilet paper poor. No water after first day . Costly price for basically a hostel !

Nice staff, comfortable room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room clean and comfortable.
The location was good for the accessibilty to the old town, but unfortunately also meant the street outside was very noisy at night, which resulted in difficulty getting a good night's sleep.
