The room, as far as cleanliness and modernity, was fine. My negative review is based almost entirely on the temperature of the room, which was unalterable.
First, I dislike giving poor reviews. My rating is primarily based on my room on the third floor being so hot. The hotel advertises air conditioning but it is my understanding from talking to staff that the central air conditioning in the “winter” only provides heat, not cool air, even if the room is 23 C. Adjusting the thermostat in your room will not generate cool air during this time of year. Further, I could not open the window more than four inches to get some cool air from outside into the room because it had a suicide cord attached and the staff told me they could not remove it. Fair enough, but I left a day early because of the temperature in the room, even though the last day was non-refundable. Other than that, this place is probably an adequate, inexpensive option if you like a overly warm room during winter months and can tolerate some traffic noise. This hotel sits right at the junction of two busy streets and the double paned windows only do so much.

Great location, walking distance to trains and city centre. The hotel was clean and morning breakfast was decent for providing the basics to start off the day.
While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. Unfortunately, I was also awakened in the middle of the night by loud noise coming from the plaza that my room was facing.

Even though we arrived early our room was ready which was a great help. Hotel is very conveniently located within aprrox. 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Malaga, also only about 10 minutes walk from train station for getting to the airport. Breakfast was very pleasant and enjoyable.
Do not really have any negative comments.

Perfect location for visiting the town.

Some of the evening staff were a bit unfriendly when requested to serve us at the restaurant/bar.

Very spacious room.
Location is nice too.
I had something i needed to put in fridge on day 1 and they were fine with that.
Cleaner touched our stuff without putting it back again.
Something heavy was moved and placed on my wife's shoe.

Wonderful
Location is perfect, especially if you travel by car as they have their own parking garage under the hotel. The hotel is located facing the old town, just crossing a short bridge from the hotel and you are at the pedestrian historic zone. Buffet breakfast was extra varied. Staff were very friendly and professional, always with a smile!

Great location, good value for money, great breakfast. Ibis is always a great choice when you are travelling somewhere new.
The air conditioning in our room worked only on the max power, lower settings did nothing.
