Malaga had a tough job to present alongside Madrid, Cordoba and Sevilla, what we saw was very enjoyable.

The breakfast was the worst i had in my life, also they gave us a handicapped room even though we didn’t want that. They said they are fully booked and they can do nothing about it. Also they say check-in time is 14:00 but when you get there, the people at the reception keep telling that they can’t guarantee a 2 pm check in.

The location was very convenient and quiet, across the bridge from the Old Town and Soho areas. Our room was clean and comfortable. Parking was a real surprise. A freight elevator delivers your auto one floor down from street level to a space under the hotel. Quite unique and exciting!

Our room , located on the first floor , is the same floor that all the linen carts are staged to use for clean/preparing the rooms at discharge. This was done late at night and early am- and it was very loud and disturbing through it the hallway. This caused a sleepless night for my family. No hotel guest should be located on this floor - if this is a work area for house keeping staff.

I stayed at Hotel Guadalmedina in Málaga during the peak Easter season of Semana santa and everything was excellent. The location is very convenient, close to the center and transport still outside the chaos of the center, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall service was smooth and professional. No issues at all during my stay. Great value for money. A solid 10/10 experience.
