Disappointing
The staff was friendly
It was so small, I barely could fit my suitcase in the room. It smelled horribly from desinfection or clorine, and the lights in the room - even the bedside lamp - was this ugly bright light that was not pleasant at all. I dont need a lot of luxury, but it felt as if they had tried really hard to make the room not cosy at all.
I tried to air the room as well as I could, but the smell lingered.

Wonderful
the staff was really welcoming. You can choose to have the breakfast in the rooftop and it was wonderful. There were few nice surprises: 1. welcome free coffee/tea; 1. box of yummy cookies; free water in room and to refill for bottles
the parking of the hotel was full, they have other connections. if known in advance I would have gone directly to that one rather than parking in a more expensive one. Once parked lazy to change again also as the other parking bit further

Centrally located, modern facilities, clean, great breakfast (one orders from the menu). Staff was very kind.
Room for three was sort of small, but for a night was doable.

I had interior courtyard oriented toom, and in front of it was a light whole night, impossible to sleep even with curtain on.

I did not stay at the hotel. Although I booked a double room with breakfast included there, and received my confirmation, at time of checking I was informed that due to a glitch there was no availability at the hotel and instead we would be placed at Suites de Pintor, about 5 minutes away on foot. I was informed that we would be offered free breakfast for the inconvenience even though the breakfast was already part of the deal. Suites by Pintor apartment was fine, larger than a hotel room as it included kitchenette and living room. It was clean.
I chose Hotel del Pintor because I have stayed there before and really like the vibe. There was nothing wrong with the apartment but it is not what I had booked. In addition I had asked for 2 twins but was given one bed instead.

Peaceful and quiet. Comfortable room and facilities, cleanliness, pleasant and helpful staff. The location is close to everything such as attractions, restaurants.
Breakfast could have been more varied. It was basically continental.

The location is amazing with in walking distance to so many landmarks, so many eestaurants and coffee shops. The property is well kept and very clean
The rooms are small, I wish they were a bit bigger and that the beds weren’t so small

The staff was lovely, especially so the male receptionist. The location was excellent. What I also particularly appreciated was that there was a water fountain with ultrafiltered water to fill in my refillable bottle at all times which I used a lot.

For me the best part of this hotel was its location! I could walk to almost anything I wanted to see. The Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro were minutes walk away and the Museo de Artes Y Costumbres Populares was about a 10 minute walk. Everywhere else was 20 to 30 minutes walk on flat land. The hotel was clean, the bathroom spacious enough, and what I chose fit my budget perfectly!
I really have no complaints or suggestions here. The staff was amazing, pleasant and willing to help every time. Breakfast was very nice, included in the price, lots of fresh pastries and wonderful coffee!

The hotel is in a great location. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. Our room was small but because of the high ceilings and the two closets it had enough space. The bathroom was surprisingly large. Our room had a window that faced an open hallway so we were glad we could adjust the air conditioning to stay cool at night without having to open the window.

Good location
I paid £245 a night for the most basic room I wouldn’t have paid more that £130. Communication with the hotel was fluent up until I wrote that the room had been dropped down to £ 140 a night prior to my arrival. Totally ignored after this hence my review.

I spent a week here and I enjoyed it a lot. The staff there are lovely and made a really good effort in making sure I enjoyed my stay there. I felt really safe there especially as a female solo traveller. The hotel is quite close to the city centre so it is in a really convenient location. I didn’t get breakfast every morning
