We wanted a hotel near to the airport due to very early flight - this was the nearest one. Comfortable beds, clean. Hotel serves breakfast from 4AM!
It is very close to the airport, but going to/from airport by foot is a bit complicated as there is no walkway between airport and hotel. We knew this before and it was not a problem for us (used to walking long distances and navigating; a walk takes ~20..25min), but better take a bus/taxi.

The staff was nice. It's the best location in case you need to be close to the airport.
The area is horrible, specially at night, seems dangerous. One would think that the Holiday, being a known hotel, would have hight standards, but not! The toilet had a strange "lamp" that I thought it was a hidden camera... They don't answer their mails. They should offer shuttle service from/to the airport.

Nice, clean, well equipped. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were checking in with Esperanza , she was so fabulous. Nothing beats great in person customer service NOTHING ! There is a restaurant in house and while it was difficult in Spain to eat vegetarian, here no problem whatsoever. Would love to come again !

I made mistake by staying in this Holiday Inn Express due to its location . I was sure that Holiday Inn Express was in walking distance from the airport but its not and is located in wrong ugly location. When I travel to Krakow Poland i always stay in the Holiday Inn before my flight back to US since it is located right at the airport, very convenient, but this one in Malaga is something else, I wonder who made location decision? I would never recommend this hotel to my friends or anyone for this matter.

Room was surprisingly spacious and clean with a comfortable bed considering the one night stay airport location.
With no other food options within a walkable distance, I did not like that the only hotel food option the evening we checked in was a buffet for 25 euros per person. Definitely not worth the price for those that don't eat a lot. A simple jamon y queso bocadillo would have been fine and less than half the price.

Wonderful
A very good base for Trips to all local seaside resorts and Malaga city. Local bus and train services reliable and good. Short bus or taxi ride to the airport. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, an unexpected and very welcome surprise.

​While this hotel is highly convenient for the airport and features newly renovated rooms, our experience as a family of three was mixed.
The room was incredibly small for the three of us, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. ​What disappointed us most was the service regarding amenities. We were explicitly told at check-in that dinner would be served in the lobby, but when we came back that night, we were simply told the vendor didn't show up and no dinner would be provided. Having to scramble for food with a family after being promised a meal was a major inconvenience.

The facilities were clean.
The worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. It’s supposed to be close to the airport but it’s a good taxi ride away in the middle of a very poor industrial area. We had a car and the road there was terrible, full of pot holes, with very little parking on site. The breakfast was very poor, very little options, dry bread.
