We did not have breakfast !? location was excellent!!!! It was quiet, away from the hustle, bustle of the old city, even though it was easy 10 minutes walk!!! The whole property could have been rated 4+ stars!!

A great hotel with lots of character and charm. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Don't be fooled by its 2 star rating as it is better than many higher rated hotels I have stayed in. The room we stayed in was modern, spacious and comfortable complete with tea coffee making facilities, air conditioning and ceiling fan, a fantastic mini fridge, and a good sized bathroom with a light up mirror; the water pressure was also wonderful. An added bonus was the rooftop terrace with a view of the ocean as the hotel is literally just around the corner from Malagueta beach.
The only con I can think of is that the steps leading up to the hotel could pose a small issue if you have a pram or buggy, or are someone with mobility issues. However there is an elevator inside the hotel

Lovely hotel with charm and character. Great room, comfy bed, great view, very clean and great location.
We couldnt get the air conditioner to work.

The breakfast was fantastic. Served promptly by the friendly staff, and everything was fresh. The only suggestion Id have would be a choice of cooked option some days.
