The staff were helpful.
It was dirty, the pool was sooo small like a bathtub for 5 people. Things need repairs. Looks nothing like the pictures. I felt cheated.

It was ok nothing I would say wowed me basic things I guess for the price we payed things would have been better
We asked the reception for a late checkin on our last day and we did it while checkin in first day he stated it should be ok no problem we asked him if we can pay now for it he said no later One day before our check out he said sorry we are full but I said you told us it will be ok and you confirmed it . Then he changed his words he said I told you if there is availability which he never said . So he lied to us and us we dont have any reason to lie too. In general I guess the price of this hotel is beyond what he is offering Breakfast is the same everyday staff are not smiling food are not replanished quickly when they’re finished …..

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im Barceló Málaga in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist modern und die zentrale Lage ist ein großer Pluspunkt – der Bahnhof sowie die Innenstadt sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Enttäuschend war allerdings der Poolbereich. Der Pool ist deutlich kleiner, als es die Bilder im Internet vermuten lassen. Bei hoher Auslastung des Hotels ist der Bereich schnell überfüllt und dadurch nicht besonders erholsam. Für Poolhandtücher muss zudem eine Kaution hinterlegt werden. Die Liegen waren teilweise in einem fragwürdigen Zustand. Eine davon war defekt, wodurch ich mich sogar verletzt habe. Hier sollte das Hotel dringend für mehr Sicherheit und eine bessere Wartung sorgen. Für ein paar Tage war das Hotel insgesamt dennoch in Ordnung, vor allem aufgrund der guten Lage. Wer jedoch großen Wert auf einen schönen Poolbereich legt, sollte seine Erwartungen entsprechend anpassen.

Location inside the Train station that was very helpful especially for my booking at 7:30am. The room was big and comfortable.
Room for one night was overpriced. There is nobody to take our luggages to the room and tell us about the room facilities!!!!!! ( The staff finished his duty?!!!!).

Las habitaciones super comodas y sobretodo la cama, muy suave. El servicio de limpieza impecable, siempre venian a limpiar la habitacion. El AC funciono bien y las instalaciones modernas. Muy buena ubicacion para visitar la ciudad de Malaga. El personal en la recepcion muy majos! muchas gracias! Espero volver pronto a Malaga me encanto!

Close to train station. Great parking. Good pool with view. rooms are comfortable. there's a huge mall connected as well which is very nice. close to everything. we would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel, clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offers something for every taste. The view from the window is not amazing, but that’s not the main thing. The hotel is located in a very convenient place, right above the train station and a shopping center. You can’t hear the trains at all — it’s very quiet. The beach is also within walking distance, about 10–15 minutes on foot. Pool on the roof also cool and can enjoy the sun.

Very modern hotel right beside the train station and car rentals. You are literally about 1 minute away from the car rental companies. We landed from the airplane and took an easy train ride to the hotel. Took around 10 minutes. Exited right at the hotel. Relaxed that night and car rental to explore andulucia region. Great breakfast. Good gym and comfortable rooms. The pillow top mattress was a little too soft for me though. Highly recommend this hotel.
