Very clean and in good location
Booked an apartment with balcony and stayed in the top floor apartment. Half the apartment had very low sloping ceilings so couldn’t walk around stood upright (a few times of banging head before we got used to it).

The bathroom was great, nice colour fittings, good towels, strong shower, unlimited hot water.
The location was very good, and it was a very quiet apartment.
The host was very friendly and let us check in early.
The mattress was totally unacceptable.
The host was very nice about it and offered that we could move to another apartment but we had unpacked our things, done washing and hung it to dry. We had 4 days in Malaga and didn't want to spend any more time moving to a downstairs apartment. The mattress must be from the 1970's, the springs are rusty and pierce you all over the body resulting in a painful night. There was a topper but completely inadequate given there is no foam left at all on the mattress. The host mentioned she would get a new mattress but if you are booking the top floor , I suggest checking the mattress is indeed new. It should not be in use.
The penthouse is very light and pleasant but you need to take care not to bang your head on the sloping roof as the fridge, kettle , etc are in different places in the apartment.
The sofa also was quite uncomfortable for us, although it was new

This property is on a residential side street in El Palo. It is extremely quiet with no noise whatsoever at night. It is very clean and comfortable. As well as a hotplate, there is a microwave and oven which is great for self catering if you want to stay for a longer time. The couple looking after the property could not have been more helpful and responsive.
All in all, I would highly recommend this apartment for a couple or two friends.

Overall we had a good stay, host was responsive and location was notnfar from the beach, supermarkets and restaurants.
Very noisy, we could hear all noises from the other apartments and people talking outside the corridor (which was happening every morning).
Despite keeping the windows open, there was a strong smell of sewage from the bathroom (which didn't have a window, so probably that didn't help).

Very clean and cozy apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron.
Great location- about 100 metres to bus stop. Vibrant area and nearby restaurants and beach.
The host Mr Yesus is a kind old man as he has helped us a lot on arrival and departure.

- 3 autobus line in front of the flat bringing you to Malaga
- host are nice, kind and available via whatsapp
- El palo beach is really cool and big
- everything is fine be aware that you need at least 40 min autobus to arrive in Malaga center

Location near beach, stores, and public transportation.
- Apartment was not clean even though they have a cleaning lady (e.g. lot of dirt between cupboards and refrigerator, cookers hood very dirty, pans dirty, crockery had to be cleaned before us)
- Cleaning equipment was just left in the small apartment consequently mop, bucket, etc. standing in kitchen/living room.
- Old/bad quality hair dryer (e.g. electric wires are in bad condition)
- Sofa is not convenient and very old. Not possible to relax with two people on it.
- Lack of maintenance inside (e.g. tiles are broken/damaged, MDF wood bathroom furniture is damaged due to humidity)
- Limited privacy in ground floor apartments due to window on street which is on 1,5m distance.
- Very hard to park near apartment. Only on 10 min. walking distance availability.
- Description relates to apartments on ground floor, first floor apartments are in general more convenient. However, presentation on booking.com is not fully transparant about the one booked which causes confusion. Same applies for coffee machine which is a Nespresso in first floor apartment and a simple manual Italian coffee cup/maker in ground floor apartments. Complaint about that to female host is ineffective (she refers to booking.com), and causes negative energy resulting in lower hospitality and decreased friendliness.
