The hotel is absolutely amazing. It is even better than the more expensive ones in the city center. Those ones in the center are definitely overpriced. This one is honestly like a five-star hotel. The beds are super amazing and super comfortable. The room can be as dark as you want, so you can sleep really nice, there isn't any noice from outside!! The rooms are big and super super clean!! Bathroom is amaizing! REALLY CAN ONLY SAY GOOD THINGS!! When I'm in Madrid again, I'm booking this hotel again!

The location is good. Close to the metro and other facilities. The room was reasonable and clean.
This was the weirdest stay at a 4 star hotel in a major european city: we arrived at night around 21:00, after our room was booked and approved through booking.com. When we arrived, my 12 y.o. son and me, the reception started looking for a room for us. We were given a room and paid the whole fare up front per the Clark's request. As we entered the room with the card key, it was immediately apparent that there were people staying in the room! They were sleeping and I quickly closed the door and went back to the reception desk. After a short apology I was given a new room. We entered the lift and it went up half a floor and... bang. It got stuck. It took a good several minutes after I pressed and pressed the alarm until we were let out. At this stage, had it not been almost 22:00 and with an alarmed young boy, would have just walked out. The desk clerk apologized and said that he would give us a free breakfast (we did not wish to include breakfast and I turned the offer down). He then took us to our room, this time we actually got there.
In the room there was no kettle, only an espresso machine and 2 capsule (first night complimentary, next would be charged - cheap for a 4 star hotel). Same goes for the minibar - which was empty, except for 2 cokes and 2 small bottles of water, same arrangement re cost. There was however a minibar pricelist, for non-existent on the main part, items. I had asked to speak to the manager immediately, but as this was a Friday evening I was told he was unavailable till Monday morning. I was not able to get him to talk to me on the phone either (same answer re the reception manager). The clerk did bring a kettle immediately at my request.
The following stay turned out to be reasonable. No complaints about the room. The staff tried hard to be friendly after the initial fiasco, so I don't know if it was due to it, or as a standard.
On Monday I finally got to speak, at my insistence, to Ramon the manager.

Very well designed, with warming colours and very comfortable beds and comfy inside the rooms
No bathroom robes, no one-use slippers, no iron inside the room, small reception and the attached restaurant isn't the same as having one of the hotel

We loved the spacious room and comfortable bed. We had to call the staff twice as we could not figure out the TV remote and shower fixture. The staff was up in seconds to help us out. They were so kind and attentive. The metro was just outside the hotel door which made getting around a breeze.
We had a great stay and have no complaints.

The property is quite new. I believe the hotel was renovated recently. Our room was spacious, well designed, and cozy. The hotel is a brisk one-minute walk from Cuatro Caminos Metro station, which easily links one to any part of the city (including the airport). The staff were really, really nice and accommodating.
