Location.
The A.C in the room did not work so someone had to come fix it very late at night, I had to wait till 3 AM and called the reception many times but they were on their Dinner break, at 3 AM....
When checking out, I asked the receptionist for a contact to talk to for a discount (NOT EVEN full refund!) for this issue, I emailed twice and they do not even bother to reply.

Maria at the front desk was superfriendly and patient with me and my questions. Thanks again! Also, the hotel itself was outstanding, would return anytime. Fantastic bed, bath, towels. No noise was heard, absolutely brilliant. Rooftop bar was great, not too crowed, perfect chill area.

fantastic location in the best place in Madrid, 700 meters from the royal palace, on the main and most interesting street for walking, close to several wonderful parks and shopping areas. The hotel tries very hard to make everything great, very friendly staff, nice and very tasty breakfast, small but nice, very clean rooms, small but nice and simple, everything you need to enjoy if you plan to walk a lot and visit Madrid in 5-6 days, this is the perfect hotel for you.
only the price of accommodation, which is increasing from year to year, now the price has really skyrocketed, but I think that it is not only the hotel's fault, but also the global price jump...

They are racists and completely rude. The a/c in the room wasn’t working instead of apologizing they deciding to act like we broke the a/c. Never in my entire life I did a review for a hotel but this time was so traumatized that I decided to write here. Detail: Was my birthday celebration.
Not a/c in the room, rude and racists employees. You can definitely find something better around the area.

The rooftop terrace was very nice. In general the room was fine
The rooftop terrace had very limited opening hours. The room was rather noisy as you could hear everything through the door. From grand via you can get anywhere quickly. But grand via in itself is super touristy and not very nice.
