It was my first time in a hostel and it exceeded my expectations. All the good reviews they have is absolutely true. Its in the best location, best staff(especially Fran- who took all the time to give me tips to explore Madrid), very clean and most important most social. So if your are looking for a social hostel, this is the place. They arranged dinners to allow the guests to mingle and then followed by pub crawl, which was too good. I highly highly highly recommend this place and there is no doubt I am coming back to this place!!!!!

The location was great, a mostly flat 5-minute walk away from the station! Big shout also to Fran on staff for being a fabulous person to speak to even in the morning. I was a bit hesitant because I often feel like my hostelling days in shared rooms should be behind me (because age), but the 4-bed all-women room I stayed in was great. Also no bunk beds, which was also great for my geriatric back. The layout of the hostel is like a shared apartment, and the bathrooms were spotless. I arrived straight out of a 20plus-hour flight series (don't ask) and felt immediately welcome :) I'd book again!

Everything was great. Fran helped me with my check-in and gave me a great list of things to do in Madrid. I felt very welcomed thanks to Fran's friendliness. Hostel is very well located. They organize cool activities and free family dinner for the guests. This makes it easier to get to know other people staying in the hostel. Hostel was very clean, big thanks to cleaning crew. Bathrooms and restrooms are more than enough. I have never needed to wait a queue during my stay.

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights, and short after were diagnosed with scabies. We had not stayed anywhere else, so there is no doubt where it came from.
This situation caused us a lot of stress and unexpected medical expenses. In my friend’s case, even her young children had to undergo treatment with medication and creams.
When we informed the hostel, they refused to take any responsibility and responded in a dismissive and defensive way, implying the issue could have come from elsewhere instead of showing concern or investigating properly.
Very disappointing handling of a serious health issue. I would not recommend staying here.

Great place, totally recommend it!! Staff is really friendly and helpful, they have built an amazing community with so many activities, the place is 3 minutes from the most central station, everything is close by.
There is no natural light in the shared workspace, and the showers could be a bit bigger.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and always eager to help. I loved the social atmosphere; there are daily organized plans to explore the city and meet new people, which is perfect for solo travelers. Plus, the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Madrid and just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to get anywhere.
The in-room lockers were quite cramped and definitely too small for standard luggage. Another downside is that they only accept cash for extra services and products, such as laundry, towels, locks, and drinks.
