Very Good
Very good location near the Royal Palace, metro stations, shops, and walking areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet thanks to the good soundproofing. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the hotel was flexible with early check-in and luggage storage after check-out.
The hotel and rooms feel a bit outdated, and the bathtub/shower setup was not very practical as water easily splashed onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast was good, but the selection remained exactly the same every day during my stay.

The staff was very friendly at all times. Check in and check out was very smooth and easy. The cleaning crew was great when fixing up our room whenever we asked.
The AC did not work and it was super hot in my room. There was a fridge that was not turned on. The cost of the room did not match the room - very outdated furniture, and almost nothing in the room but the furniture itself. It is center to tourist attractions but not to other parts of the city. Bus friendly but train is a longer walk.

Several rooms away from ours, a group of thugs were screaming all night until 3 a.m., and the staff never did anything to stop it. The staff should be responsible for ensuring that the rules are enforced.

Great location. Bus stops close by. Royal Palace is next door. Plaza Mayor and many other places are very walkable. The hotel is located in a quiet area.
Interior is a bit dated. Small and slow elevators.

The location near the palace was excellent. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful.
There are two hotels with ‘Príncipe Pio’ In the name and they’re about a ten minute walk apart. If you use an app to find your hotel be very alert and check the street address.

Very friendly staff who is very welcoming. The breakfast was the best - varieties of spread, tasty and fresh. Its very well connected and located next to the main road - great access to the city.

A strange hotel in the heart of Madrid. Decorated without taste, but clean and relatively inexpensive. Some rooms clearly were partying, hallway smelled of cigarettes, but overall I slept well.

The cleanliness, the location, the atmospehere. The breakfast was very good and they had gluten free bread.
The room had a weird view, the hotel did not accomodate our request to change the room with a nicer view.

Great central location, polite staff and quality breakfast.
First night we were settled on the first floor, which felt like in a basement as it didn’t have almost any daylight. We asked for a move the next morning and it was much better, as we stayed for 5 days. Bathtub water temperature was very hard to control, one second it was cold and another boiling hot. TV got no connection, we didn’t complain, as we didn’t spent much time in the hotel. One would expect a bit more from a 200€/night hotel.
