Very friendly and great location
The restaurant nearby cause food smell in some rooms ... however, the staff were very helpful in providing a replacement room .. I wish the ventilation system improved to avoid this problem. This can be easily managed.
Also no concierge service for people with luggage like us :)
other wise it was a very good experience ..

1. A 4* hotel should not have paper cups for tea / coffee in the room
2. No shower cap - had to ask reception
3. Booked this hotel as had bikes but the ladies bike saddle was completely loose and no Allen key / tools on reception so could not use the bikes at all that are in full veiw on the stairs but unusable
4 room 305 broken tile on shower room and rather messy wall where hairdryer attached , very basic watered down toiletries
5 paid for balcony to sit near but only 1 chair in a double bedroom so Nowhere for 2nd person to sit except the bed
No pen in the room to write down restaurants etc

The location was great. Large room. The breakfast was great, lots of options. The balcony was also a wonderful featur.
Maintenance issue - significant leaking from upstairs AC. When we call front desk we were given a stack of towels. Loud dripping sounds all night.

The location just off Plaza Mayor is centrally located to the Royal Palace, Plaza de Sol, Retiro Park, the Prado, Gran Via and of course many delightful shops and cafes.

breakfast was great, fruit, coffee, juice and delicious local dishes. The hotel was super clean, the staff was amazing and the location was AMAZING!!
Maybe the rooms were a little bit small, but don't get me wrong it was a minor details compared to all the bennefits Posada del Peine offered.

The location could not have been better. Walking distance to countless restaurants and major sights. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was one of the best I've had. Can't imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Madrid.

What truly makes the difference is the customer service: friendly, helpful, and the small little things that show genuine care. Honest answers, sincere effort, and human warmth go further than any décor ever will.
I may forget what you said or what you did, but I will never forget how you made me feel.
Booking.com taxi arrangement from Airport to Hotel. The driver was not help. I was rounding the area from 1 hour before a kind person took me to the hotel. The driver knew that some areas in Madrid is walking only. Just think carrying our bags and walking looking for directions.

Great location, exceptional job by staff, especially associate in the front desk named Jon. plea clean pretty much every day as requested. Very nice.
