Pleasant
Pros: location, no carpet in room, AC, mini fridge, safe in room; you need a room key to swipe to get into the hotel. Staff were polite.
Cons: hard to see hotel entrance since the building next door is getting renovated; you have to request from reception every time you need an extra roll of toilet paper or “tissues” - which is a joke (picture attached).
Restroom: Whoever designed the restroom did not have hygiene nor privacy in mind. The racks to hang your towels or clothes to dry is literally right above the toilet. Every time you shower, the entire bathroom gets steamed - no fan, and anything you have on the “counter”, if you could call it that, will get wet. The bathroom door has a slight gap, so hope you’re comfortable with whoever you’re sharing the room with. There is no full shower-door, so some water will spill out onto the bathroom floor. Even if you only turn on the bathroom light, it basically lights up the entire room.

Wonderful
Location, facilities and price. Walking distance to the Opera metro station and next to Mercado San Miguel. The price was reasonable for Madrid.
The breakfast could have more options. I remembered when I stayed in this hotel a few years ago the breakfast had a lot of options, this time I saw it was very limited.

Wonderful
The hotel was very convenient for parking and exploring the city. The instructions were clear on how to access the parking garage. It was a great base for exploring Madrid, incredibly close to the Royal Palace.
There were a few things that could have been a little cleaner. I had to wipe some stains off the nightstand before using it.

The hotel is middle of everything. You can access Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via, Chueca by walking. Mercado de San Miguel is across the street. Staff were friendly, room was clean. Definitely it’s worth for its price.

Hotel too expensive for the facilities and amenities included for a week is not the best options.
Room too small and the facilities showed low maintenance , cloths with black spots , doors damages , and chair appearances too old.

It is central to downtown Madrid, excellent location.
Our room had a musty, stinky feet smell. It was an accessibility room and the shower easily floods. Clearly, there’s a mold problem. It needs refurbishing.

Pleasant
The location is good if you want to be super close to the old centre of Madrid. The air conditioning functioned properly even during a heat wave, and the room was not loud. Very comfortable bed and all suitable amenities (kettle, clothes iron, toiletries etc) were readily available.
In my girlfriend’s opinion, cleaning must be improved.
She reported issues found in the room to the reception, they said they will remediate them and the next day, not much was improved. They change the towels each day and make the bed.
On the good side, the bed was clean. However, multiple areas of the room were visibly dirty to the point that they needed proper cleaning, as wiping them would not be enough.
