The location of the hotel was literally right across the street from the huge food market so it was an ideal location if you needed to just grab a bite to eat in between lunch and dinner. Also, there was a lot of people hanging around the area so it was a lot of fun and great people watching. The room was fine. Very clean and it worked perfect for my daughter and I. We felt very safe and we absolutely loved Madrid. The breakfast is awesome. My daughter tries to eat gluten free and dairy free and there were a lot of different alternative foods for her for breakfast so I highly suggest paying for the breakfast. It is totally worth it. They also had clean juices that were fun to try. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. They do know the English language. I would definitely stay again.
My only complaint which really has nothing to do with the hotel is that it was tough to catch a taxi. It is preferred to get to a taxi stand which is a few blocks away.

Location was amazing. Few minute walk to Plaza mayor. Room had a terrace which afforded us a view of the city rooftops and a place to enjoy outside space. Mercado San Miguel and carrefour nearby for food options.
Shower floor extremely slippery….needs some anti slip strips.
