The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Our room was the garden suite and it was large, spacious and very comfortable. The location is walking distance to great sites and restaurants.
This was our second time at this hotel. We love the location, ambiance, and staff. We were a bit disappointed that they changed the bar/resturant into just a restaurant or event room. It used to be a wonderful place to get a drink and sit at the very appealing circular bar. Now, to have a drink at this hotel, you need to go to a smaller bar, that is not as relaxing. However, lots of great/delicous restaurants in very close walking distance.

Breakfast was fine but uninspired. Restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and bathroom large and well laid out.
All staff were friendly but front desk staff not well informed about restaurant recommendations (they did not really know of good seafood or any thai restaurants and simply googled as I could have done) or train schedule on Saturday to Toledo. I was told there were trains every 20 or 30 minutes from Toledo back to Madrid. It was suggested that I book my return to Madrid at 6:45 which was far too much time as I arrived there around 10:00 a.m. By 2:00 when I wanted to return, believing there were frequent trains, I was told there were no return trains available before my scheduled train andI had to take a taxi for 120 Euros back to Madrid because I did not want to waste the day sitting in the station. My suite on the 4th floor was beautiful but very cold despite turning the temp to 30 degrees celcius. Weekend housekeeping forgot to leave towels and wash cloths - not a big deal but had to call to get them delivered.

room was not well kept prior to my check in. dirt spots around the shower. staff were not aware of the happenings around the hotel or city. rooms are tiny and hard to move around. room service staff didnt understand english and services were not easy to complete. humidity smell around the room.

This was a beautiful property - we absolutely loved our room. We upgraded to their suite with beautiful exposed wooden beams, there was a Christmas tree, and terrace. Lovely experience. So comfortable, like staying in an apt.
Loved everything, not a bad thing to say! Would definitely rebook everytime we come. Top tier service and hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone - the location cant be beat.

We were 100% pleased with our stay. The 24-hour check-in policy that allowed us to go to our room upon arriving at 8am after an overnight flight from the US is amazing. The 24-hour breakfast was also fabulous. Until 11 am there is a buffet and after that you order ala carte from the menu. We ate around 1:30pm and were surprised by the quantity of tasty food we were served.
