The location is perfect, walking distance from everything. The eclectic modern design is very cool, we also loved that you could have breakfast included in the room at any time of the day!
The gym needs an update, no Spa or new machines. The deluxe room was not well thought out, it has a useless long corridor and quite a small bedroom area. Our room also gave to the inner breakfast courtyard so the open windows didn’t mean fresh air from outside. On the plus side, it was very silent.

The hotel is in reality much more beautiful than on the website. It is beautifully furnished and designed. Every little details is well curated. From the arrival until departure the hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. We got greeted with a glass of cava at arrival and at our departure they offered us a bottle of water for the walk to the train station. I celebrated my birthday in Madrid which the hotel knew. The staff sent to our room a little cake and a bottle of cava. The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the central station, 20 minutes from the Museo Reina Sofia, 10 minutes from the Palacio Real which has a beautiful park. To the Museo del Prado it is only 15 minutes. The side streets around the hotel has cute little boutiques but within 15 minutes walking is the big shopping street with all commercial stores as Zara, Bershka etc.
The breakfast buffet is not worth the money as the variety was rather small (and we came an hour before closing) and a là carte was also not impressive.
