Room very small - had to open the second suitcase in the hall of the room.

We were asked to pay €25 extra at check in to get a “nicer room” than a standard one we had booked. We declined and ended up in an accessible room which wasn’t comfortable for us. For some reason the room had a murphy bed i.e. the pull down bed that had no headboard and was smaller instead of a normal one. There were no bedside tables to put down your things or a glass of water. Bathroom had no counter space to lay out toiletries. The mirrors etc were too low to do your hair comfortably because the room is obviously designed for guests with mobility issues. Drinking water wasn’t replenished after the first night, and on arrival there was only one bottle even though two people were clearly going to stay there. Given the above I’d say this was bad value for over £250 / night.

breakfast is good. We book 2 rooms for 4 adult people and one of the room is not well clean , so the staff help change to the other room in the next day and it is very clean. The location is good even though no parking area at the front of hotel but we use taxi and walk, so it is convenient.
The bed is quite small. There is the view of street and the garden but mostly hear the sound from the street. The window can open but outside have sound and windy.

Service in reception area just a little slow but very friendly so not a major problem. Maybe needed an extra member of staff.
