The property was in an excellent location just 16 minutes to the palace and the Cathedral and close proximity to restaurants. It was also very quiet.

The personnel was helpful and smiling all the times with few exceptions. The breakfast was rich in options but the quality of variety could be more tasty in flavors as also the dinner we once tried . I liked perfectly the location and the building history . Also the bed was extra comfort as the bathroom and the view .
I didn’t like so much the structure of the room I would prefer for the prices to have but more space . Also a better restaurant option inside .

Stylish decor, super comfortable bed, great location for the Central/Plaza del Sol/core sightseeing. Renovators did a fantastic job with the property - very elegant.
Staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Great team.
For us, at E300, it was a bit of a splurge for the type of travel we typically do in Europe. Lodging in the core is admittedly expensive and I don't regret it at all after staying at the property. I might even consider it on a return.

Excellent location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very complete, high quality and nicely displayed.
I had a room "with a view", there was no view other than walls and large disposal containers. Facing the street, with the absence of view, I had lots of noise. Very active, lively neighborhood with non stop action and consequent noise. The street was blocked due to ongoing work and I only learned at arrival. It would have been nice to know what to expect. We parked nearby, called by phone and a helpful employee came to help with the luggage.

Arrived early at hotel from international flight. Requested early check-in as we were exhausted. The reception host indicated that early check-in was available for 95 Euros which I had to pay. The reality is that we had a reservation, the hotel had a room available at the time we arrived at the hotel which I could occupy 6 hours later, However, they elected to squeeze the guest for more money instead of providing early check-in for free.

The location of the hotel is incredible. Food at hotel was just ok, not great. Room was interesting as a loft.

Very attentive and friendly staff
Location was within walking distance of many of the attractions
We had an outward facing room but the excellent shutters kept out all noise and light
Reasonable bars/restaurants near the hotel
Finish to room seemed in need of a freshen up
Flannels and towels not always replaced even when left on the floor
Was very expensive

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were satisfied with the services ,not only with the porter who came to the Calle Atocha to pick up our luggage ,where the taxi left us, but also with the staff who serves at the restaurant for breakfast.
We think that the temperature of air conditioner provided in the room, could have been better .Apparently, during the late hours in the evening ,the temperature is modified , so it felt warmer.
In addition, the bins of trash, and recycle are located very close to one of the entrance of the hotel.It is important that the hotel request the city to have them move somewhere else since there was trash ,boxes and bottles all over the side walk.
