We had an inner looking room, the shades were hard to close, hence there was always light penetrating the room, and the isolation was poor - we could hear every one in the corridor…

No drawers in most Spain hotel rooms, not sure why, also no make up remover pads or ear cleaning cotton pods in the bathrooms
Late check in, gym not up to scratch, very small for a 5 stars hotel, no bands for example and minimal equipment, no small weights.

This was our second visit to this hotel. The first one was back in March 26. We planned our second trip to Madrid and wanted to stay at the same hotel so we did for 5 nights in Sep 26. We are planning our third visit to Madrid and will definitely stay here again. The hotel itself has a lot of character. Its location for us was perfect as it just off Plaza Santa Ana with easy walking distance to many of the best attractions in Madrid. The rooms we stayed in were perfect for us. The staff were all very friendly and were extremely professional. The breakfast experience offered so many options and timings were perfect, so too were the staff who were always helpful and eager to assist or help with anything. The reception staff too welcomed us on arrival and also departure. Always a service with a smile!
We liked everything about this hotel and there was NOTHING we didn’t like!
