Fabulous breakfast. Great location to the Football stadium. Easy walking to everything.
I had flowers that needed a simple vase with water and they had nothing to help me. So I used the ice bucket! Not the best here. Room service was very expensive.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good.
The staff at the reception was rude when we checked in (there were polite and nice staff too though).
The bar at the lobby forgot our drinks we ordered (although there weren't many customers.) .
We booked it because we wanted to use the spa facility and checked with the staff twice about the opening hour before making the reservation but they told us incorrect information and we couldn't use the spa. (the personnel told us it will be open until 10pm but it closed at 6pm).
I will not stay at this hotel again as their service level is low.

Amazing hotel, if you plan to attend a match in SB it’s the hotel for you. Our room was on VIP level, it was big and clean. I would come back again

The bar amenities did no seem void of life as in many other establishments. Breakfast was magnificent in quality and things to choose. Staff was friendly and helpful with always a smile on their face.

The hotel it's very nice located but it doesn't really feel as fancy as it set out/advertised to be. While the common areas were nice, the rooms really had nothing special. The bed was really big and comfy and the staff nice.
It was unseasonably warm in Madrid and the Airco could not be set up lower. I was hot every single night and hence slept poorly.

Great food in Casa de Comidas restaurant - we chose tasting menu option offered as part of our stay and it was a great choice.
Very good variety of options for breakfast with VIP breakfast option for guests staying in premium roons
Nice jacquzzi complex available free of charge for guests staying in premium rooms
Extra bonus for football fans - view over Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
We had problems with air-conditioning in our room and only after third request placed with Guest Relationship Manager it was fixed.

Upgrading was easy due to the reception staff. Other features like late leaving etc were made easier than other hotels with the hotels subsequent email and website.
The VIP breakfast room was really inviting and although we did not use it every day, one of the members of staff came over to us in the main room to get any additional order outside of that room. This completely unexpected and above what we felt was necessary. We were impressed.
The breakfasts are really exceptional, with an excellent choice of fruit, asian, spanish, continental or full english items, healthy options, quesadillas, sandwiches, cold meats, cheeses, pancakes, omelettes and egg types at request, pancakes, various juices and staff also visit with juice shots which is a nice touch found in a few hotels nowadays. We have stayed in a few hotels in Madrid and this was the best so far.
A good choice of drinks, sparkling wines, even fresh tomato juice and vodka should you want a bloody mary.
The VIP area also provides a few signature features that is a nice touch and modified the eggs benedict for me to an eggs royale. The omelette my wife had was really great. I honestly wish I could have eaten more, but was full after a relatively normal amount of food. It was easy as well to eat healthy, or not, it is up to you.
I think the coffee area in the VIP would benefit from a barista and commercial espresso machine vs a an automatic bean to cup machine, but that's probably asking a lot. I look forward to staying here again.
No issues with wifi.
One particular restaurant's (bikini bar) food was initially great, but the sandwiches felt overly rich and indulgent to the point they were not so enjoyable after further bites. In this restaurant we had also asked for additional items in two visits, but each time these were forgotten and we had highlight this because they were going to be charged for.
In addition the gym while great is not explicitly a hotel gym and is very popular so guests should be aware and plan to go in less busy periods.
One of the vending machines (at the gym) there for protein shakes also charged and we did not get a shake, it was given to us, but we tried again hoping the staff would monitor but he wandered off. Leading to another charge without a shake at which point we left in frustration. I would advise for items like this guests prepare and visit el corte ingles for the same shakes.
For the gym access is reliant on showing a voucher to staff, which does mean you might have to queue to enter or wait at the door to be let out.
In reality I would not actually attach any of these elements to the hotel. But specifically minor issues with the restaurant and down to how busy the gym was (and a faulty vending machine).

Good value for money. More amenities than Hilton.
The hotel entry and check-in desk is difficult to reach, up several stairs. A security guard near the door saw me struggling to get my suitcase up the stairs and would not come outside to assist me. I informed the check in desk and apologies were made. Hotel and hospitality staff should be in the business of Customer Service!
