Staff were nice and very clean.
Had to book to go in pool. Only 45 mins a day. Pay for a cap 5 euros which was mandatory seemed wrong.

The spa, it was small, without a sauna, the jacuzzi is too small and doesn't work very well. I didnt like having to wear the mandatory head cap for the spa, I felt violated by this. Our room - The bathroom was dated considering what we paid for the room, it was also quite noisy, I could hear noise coming from the other rooms quite clearly as though the sound proofing wasn't very good.

The location was near Gran Via and the opportunity to shop and go eat at restaurants near the hotel was very important during our stay in Madrid.
I did not like the half shower door because it splatters all over the floor. The tiolet was near a mirror wall which makes it hard to go to bathroom.

Great quality of hotel and location - very central to tourist sites.
The only thing we can say is the drinks in the bar are very expensive. Also we would have had a dinner in the restaurant if they had a better menu selection.

Excellent location right at Plaza de España, one of the best areas in Madrid, with easy access to the city’s main attractions, restaurants and transport. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed, making the stay enjoyable overall.
Unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. The first room I was given, on a lower floor, clearly appeared to have been assigned to someone else, as the room contained a welcome card addressed to a completely different person. Despite this obvious mistake, there was no proper apology or meaningful acknowledgment from the hotel. I had also been charged for a premium room, but after requesting a higher-floor room, I was moved to a smaller, cheaper room while apparently still being charged the premium rate. Again, no apology or compensation was offered. Finally, after checking out, I asked if I could use the shower before heading to the airport while I was collecting my luggage. I was simply told no, on the basis that the swimming facilities were not owned by the hotel. Given the circumstances, this felt unnecessarily inflexible and particularly poor customer service. Overall, the location and rooms were good, but the repeated service issues, lack of apology and complete absence of compensation significantly detracted from the experience.
