The staff is not very helpful.

Wonderful
We were there for one night only in order to fly home the next day, but the room was clean, comfortable, and larger than most European hotels.
Our room was perfect but the room we were given was in the fourth tower, and it was a very long walk away from reception and the bar/dining room. It is a very large property and as senior citizens, a room closer to the main areas would have been better.

Wonderful
Hotel was very convenient for a quick one night in Madrid before we headed to Rioja region. Close to airport, had a free shuttle, and numerous restaurants and bar options at the facility
Very big, crowded, and a bit expensive for the the what you get.

Restaurant on site, close to airport, overall very nice facilities and the hotel looks great. Good size room and nice bathroom
Very expensive for what you get and our room smelled like mothballs, Opened the window for awhile but it didn't make a difference

Airport transfers were a bit disappointing. We were told that there were two transport vehicles but for the 6h15 transfer there was only one vehicle. We had to take a taxi and pay for it. So I guess it’s not always a certainty that you will get the free transfer.

Exceptional
Very clean and beautiful building. There are so many amenities provided, I wish my stay was longer.
The shuttle bus times to the airport could be more frequent. In addition, the sofa bed could be more comfortable (however the beds provided were very nice!)

Fair
The room was nice, big enough, it seem to be clean, the breakfast was ok. The staff was nice.
The pool was too small, we got lost when looking for our room, the staff didn't offer to help us with the luggage. The electricity went off in the middle of the night and they didn't warn me about it, not before and not even when I was doing the check in. As a side note, if your plan is to visit the center of Madrid, this is not a good option, because its far away.
