The staff was extremely helpful and explained how we could catch the bus to downtown.
It is in the suburbs. I booked something near the train station but this is near the northern train station and not the historic area downtown. It was closer to the airport which helped.

Great hotel, very easy to find, very clean a the staff as others have said were super friendly to us and the dogs. The hotel is in a nice part of Madrid
