Great Staff, Very Cleanly, Roomy Enviornment, Exciting Ammenities.
Primary Issue was Sound. Doors and walls are paper thin. Anything going on outside the room can be heard perfectly, which is bothersome when trying to rest.

Great hotel! We loved the location near the prado. The family room was great for our family of 4. The rooftop pool and bar were also a great place to relax.

It can get very noisy! It’s a refurbished old hotel, and they kept old doors and marble floors, and not very good sound insulation, so basically you can hear old doors slamming all night

It has a decent bed. It isn’t fancy or extra. It is very basic.
It’s overpriced. It doesn’t include breakfast. The staff is nice only if they’re no minor issues. If you have any problems they then may or may not be very kind, and if your card doesn’t take and you try “to many” they will refuse you and claim it is suspicious! Unbelievable. I had stayed before and when I came back because it was easier than finding somewhere else new I had the worst experience, they let me think I was going to stay there but they waited till it was 10 o clock pm To tell me They can’t accept me staying because I used to many different cards??? Weird. Never expected the way the treated me.

Staff very warm, welcoming and attentive. Room is spectacular, with everything needed for your bath and for good nights of sleep, and a bonus: mini-fridge is included. Location is outstanding, you can go by foot to the main places, and it's also very closer to the subway. The hotel's restaurant is also perfect, where we ate the best meal in Madrid. I would rate 11, 12, 13... if I could. Best of the best.

The staff were very welcoming from day one and Javier was very helpful in informing us where to go since we mostly traveled by foot exploring the cities beauty it has to offer and history. Overall the location was amazing close to everything and lovely, very much so.

Hotel Villa Real is a classic old style luxury hotel centrally located near the Prado, Sol, Plaza Mayor, Parque del Retiro. It’s close to the Ritz and Palace but a little less flashy and less costly. Staff and service were perfect.
